About this mod

The kind of long knife -- the German medieval civilian self-defense weapon -- a post apocalyptic knife smith might make, as a blade for the machete handle.

Permissions and credits
A long knife blade for the machete handle. In case you always wanted to bring a knife to a gun fight ;)

The general balance aim point is to be in the same ballpark as the Kremvh's Tooth blade, but with a stagger ability instead of poison and slightly less bleed. It won't be the best melee weapon in the game, but it should be hopefully more stylish than rusty saw blades nailed to baseball bats and such.

You can craft it at your local weapon workbench, if you have smithing at rank 3 to make it, and some steel and adhesive. And, of course, a machete, since it's just an upgrade for that one.


COMPATIBILITY AND LOAD ORDER

The only compatibility issue worth noting is: It's an .esl file because I had too many mods otherwise. As such, it needs the game to be patched to at least 1.10 to know what to do with an .esl file. Anyone trying to report that it doesn't load in an unpatched game will be mercilessly pointed and laughed at ;)

Otherwise, it should not conflict with just about anything imaginable, because it doesn't change any existing game records.

It's compatible with mods like Legendary Effects or Two Legendary Effects or the Armour And Weapons Keywords workbenches and such, in that it won't get in their way. But it doesn't actually require them, nor does it care where it is in the load order in relation to them.

In fact, it doesn't care where it is in the load order, period, because it doesn't depend on anything.
