    Status Update:

I've added Vivid Weathers support on my local beta build which adds an additional weather type called 'Snowy'.

I'm working on the 'Dialogue' option now. NAC support will be added after that.

    You'll get further informations here.

R u using some weather-mod that isn't on the supported list? Did you save the loadouts first with 'Outfit Switcher'?

      Could use some more infos...

You're correct. I may add support for more weather mods in the near future.

people still playing Fallout 4 must be carrying at least a 100 custom weapons in their inventories as a new weapon mod instantly gets like 300 endorsements and something like this ends up with 15 in 7 days... it's just something I will NEVER understand.

so I was thinking of making a mod like this for a few days now for my personal playthrough and then I saw this one in JuiceHead's latest video, and I'm so glad there's already a great implementation of this idea. basing it on Outfit Switcher was exactly my idea as well.

the only thing I would add is an option to auto-switch into Charisma gear either when the player arrives at a friendly settlement or when entering the dialogue menu.
also maybe a toggle for fadingsignal's West Tek Tactical Optics at nighttime/daytime. :)
    (cqf WestTek_GoggleControlQuest GoggleToggle)

btw seems like we have a very similar taste when it comes to mod ideas. ;) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zkJEez89i-0

CDante acknowledged my mod AND endorsed it... THE CDANTE !!!

"I'm not worthy!! I'm not worthy!! I'm not worthy!!"

Dude, thank you very much for this post. This give me so much motivation. I'm tracking the feedbacks and requests on this comment section and the dialogue option was mentioned several times already. I'll add it to my (extremly long) To Do list.

BTW... Your mods are awesome !!

Dude this is awesome I always wanted something like this in my games. Hopefully one day you or someone could make like a follow up to this mod with like every character changing clothes depending on like the time of day or just the situations that they are in. It kinda always bothered me that video game characters never changed clothes.

If you're in the middle of a rad storm, and you get into combat, what happens? Do you swap back and forth between outfits constantly? Or are you able to set priority of outfits?

It all depends on the situation and the settings you made in the holotape... check the option section on the mod-page.

It's easiest if you experiment with the settings or choosing one of the presets in the holotape. There should be something for most playstyles.

I just installed the mod, can you only get the holotape on a new game? I'm already a few levels into my game, and don't see it available in the chem station like other mod items

      Quote from the Mod-Page:
You'll get a Settings Holotape when exiting Vault 111 (or starting a new game with Start Me Up)

It does also work on a existing game. If for some reason you didn't get one, you can craft one at the chem-station under the utility section. There is one with and without VIS Tag.

Got it figure out! I looked up items available via the console, and the settings holotape wasn't there. Downloaded the .ESP file instead and got it as soon as I launched my game. Thanks!

I'd love my companions and settlers to do this if the item is in their inventory but not necessarily my character.

    Awesome mod though.

Hey I love your mod and I have a suggestion, i guess this would be hard and no one have done before but could you do something like this but with the settler? Cause it is always immersion-breaking to see my settler sleep with their whole set of working clothes on them, so maybe you could do a script or something that let them change to some sort of sleeping clothes when they are in bed?

This is more or less the same suggestion that nezexyzzar gave me some post below. I'll keep it in mind but I don't see it as a part of this mod. Maybe in a separate one. But thanks for the suggestion. There seems to be a need for such stuff for FO4.

As long as you're thinking about that. Could you also consider to make NPC's equip gas masks during Radstorms? I've been looking for a mod like that for a long time. It's so stupid walking around during a radstorm with lethal(in my game anyways) amounts of radiation and all the NPC's are like..."eh, why is that dude wearing a gas mask?"lol

Check 'Fallout 2287 - Gas Masks of the Wasteland' - https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/17491/

Does exactly that... and a lot of other things.

Hi ! Thank you, I like this mod and I miss only one thing: a swimming outfit when you go in water.
If I remember it correct, there is a function like ref.isinwater that could be usefull.
I hope this is an easy task and you like it.

I'm using a scuba-dive mod, so I was looking into that feature with the function actor.onplayerswimming, but i couldn't get it to work - so i skipped it. I'm not familiar with the function you are mentioning and I couldn't find anything on the web apart from the SKSE function action.isswimming. Could you link me to the documentation? I'll give it a try on my test version.

Thx for the hint warheadz... I've written a message to the mod author of 'Get dirty' asking for a code-snippet. Let's hope for an answer.

Now I think, it is only a console or f4se function, I can't find it on the creationkit site.
But I hope you get the code and can use it, thanks for the effort !

I've actually found a way to do it, buuuuut... idk. The outfit change on weather transitions and combat situations works like a charm. Been playing with it for month before releasing it. But the method I came up with for swimming feels more like a workaround than a solution. It's just not 100% reliable... Let me tinker some more with the code and let's hope the author from 'Get Dirty' sees my message.
