Don't worry, I did not notice it as well. I have seen those meshes in loading screens and I did not see there as well. I started to notice it when the author said about the bump at the second "A" in the "fragmentation" print.
If it disturbs you, feel free to install this mod. It at least does not disturb me because it is so little that you could see that only during the load screen. If you don't care about it; well, just give it a shrug and go on.
I've been waiting for Bethesda to correct this for years, but as always it's left to the modding community to fix.
Thank you for bringing us this mod, I can now use frag mines without succumbing to the manifested rage that this over site has built over the years! Thanks to you I will no longer have to drown a bag of kittens to quell my anger.

the vanilla one is raised too high, the modded one is lowered, giving it a more natural round look rather than having some weird bump.
