This mod is no longer supported.  I will not be providing bug fixes for this mod, or any of my other mods which use VotW.

In the late 70s and early 80s UK cinemas used to (and still do in some), screen some really bad adverts before the trailers and films.  The main advertising company for cinema adverts was Pearl & Dean.  In any British person over 35, if you mention cinema adverts, the first thing that comes to mind is Pearl & Dean, and the tune Asteroid by Pete Moore, and really dodgy curry house adverts.  These reels are conversions of some of the adverts for Starlight Drive-In, so you need Videos of the Wasteland.

The ads come in packs of 5, but I will be creating an AIO pack once I've converted them all.  The ad packs are as follows...

Pearl & Dean Intro and Outros
As it says, and only 2 reels.

Pearl & Dean Ad Pack 01
Kiosk Ad
Kia Ora
Metropole Hotel Ad (has a short newpaper ad before it)
Silk Cut Cigarettes
Regency Tandoori

Optional add-on that will add Eric the Projectionist, a ghoul NPC who can be recruited as a settler.  He's been made essential so he can't be killed.

Pearl & Dean Ad Pack 02
Hai Karate Gamesman
Castella Cigars
Bovril Stock Cubes (starring the late Terry Wogan)
K-Tel Summer Cruisin' and Country Comfort
Stork SB (starring the late Bruce Forsyth)

Some adverts may contain things that are unacceptable these days (mainly the Silk Cut ad using "blackface", and "fag" which is British slang for a cigarette).  No offence is intended by the inclusion of these ads, but back then these things and terms were considered acceptable.  If anything, it probably shows how far society has moved on.  Once again - no offence is intended.

I claim no credit whatsoever for these adverts and they have been obtained from 3rd party publicly available videos on YouTube, are used on a creative commons basis, and in good faith.
