About this mod

Adds in special high-adhesive duct tapes to certain places around the commonwealth and to a few of the rare container spawn lists. Uses the indispensable duct tape retextures by asXas to add in two types of much more useful tape rolls. (Solves that missing blue tape issue, too ;) )
(The vanilla duct tape remains unaffected.)

Permissions and credits
The incomparable genius A.S. Xas, founder and lead engineer of Xas-Co, developed many special innovations for both civilian and military endeavors before the war. Not the least of these was X-Tape, a significant improvement in strength, convenience, value, and - most importantly - aesthetics over standard and military-grade duct tapes. Its style and adhesive properties stretch many times further than had been previously achieved.

Due to its value and efficiency, it is rare to find in your average garage or toolbox. While some regular citizens did have the wherewithal and the need to purchase it, generally it was only found in specialty stores, manufacturing facilities, and military installations.

In the resource-scare wastes of the Commonwealth, this tape can be a lifesaver for those would-be tinkerers finding it frustrating collecting reliable adhesives for their projects...

This mod uses the show-stoppingly crucial tape retextures by asXas (with permission of course) to add two new duct tapes with increased useful components. This accomplishes a few things:
1) It provides a reasonably immersive, not-too-cheaty rare adhesive bonus item, which is fun to find and helps counteract the un-immersive way an entire roll of duct tape can only be used for one mod attachment, if you're lucky.
2) It provides a simple mod for me through which I can tinker with script-injected leveled lists to learn how to do them, as well as some other modding stuff I want to learn. So I'm uploading it for fun in the meantime.
3) It gets blue tape in there.

Also it says thanks to asXas for his great mods. See his Official Blue Tape mod for the source of the textures and the essence of the whole tape color humor...

Blue tape is critical, for sure, but it is also... special. So this is not a replacer. It adds blue tape. Which is better. Naturally.

I would be grateful for some feedback and observations on:
* The values I've assigned to them - I feel like they are generous , but this is intentional
* How often they appear - it should be very rare

It adds these two items to a few places around the map, and also adds them "the old fashioned way" to these Leveled Lists, with pretty low probabilities:
- LLI_Loot_Items_Tiny_Unique
- LL_Component_Vendor_Adhesive
- LL_Junk_Tiny/VerySmall/Small/Prewar (4 lists)

I have a pretty long mod list, and none of them edits these lists. I don't think many mods do, so I think this has a decent chance of not conflicting with much. But like I said, the point of starting on this was so I could learn the ins/outs/pros/cons of script-injecting LL's. So if you like this mod and think you would prefer they be added that way, let me know and I'll try to expedite uploading a version that does that.

I also would like to learn about item sorting tags. As it is this does not have them.

I would really like to figure out how to make a script that would reduce the components as you use it, versus scrapping it all at once. Just because I think that would be cool and immersive and all.

Could be fun to add:
- Constructible counterfeit versions to sell for their high value?
- Other rare component-adding items? (I'm thinking about maybe a "hobby kit" with other rare things that are annoying not to have, like screws and gears etc.)
- XasCo as a place/quest? (asXas, what do you think...?)

You read all that, right? It was fun?
Apologies for saying with 1000 words what I might have said in 10. I really can't help it.

Never-ending appreciation for:
asXas for the tape textures and the good laugh, as well as your other mods
