Version 1.2 is now here! This update fixes a few more issues and bring some new features as well. Here are all the work items that were fixed and completed with this version (see the changelog section for more details)
One bug that has been haunting me for over a year was when the weapon would be dropped it would become transparent. Thanks to ehtyeci I was able to find the root cause of this and now when the weapon is dropped or put on a weapon rack it should look as expected. While this isn't a huge bug its a personal bug I always wanted to fix and glad I was.
For anyone who was getting motion sickness from the FOV zoom effect does not need to worry anymore. In 1.2 the animations for 1st person have been completely overhauled and the FOV Zoom effect is now gone for all the movement animations.
The last thing I want to call out is a new feature I've added to the weapon. A new Assault Top Rail attachment is included with the weapon, for those who like Halo it may look pretty familiar to you. Brandon007 had shown me a cool model concept of how it looked and after consideration (despite the extra work it took to put in) I agreed and its now part of the weapon. You can find it with all the other Top Rail weapon attachments in the workbench. If you want to see what it looks like right now I've added several screenshots too.
v1.2 of the BR77 for now is my final update. I've fixed everything I possibly can or want to at this point. If there is a bug you have logged in the bugs section I will have replied to why it was not fixed or if it was not a bug I could fix. The next content that will be coming are finally the custom camo packs that you will be able to download and choose different camos to have for the custom slots.
Update: So far the mod overall has been solid. I have noticed an increased amount having issues with the FOV zoom feature in 1st person though. Originally I was going to just make a quick optional file download for those who wanted it. However, after further consideration I am going to make it an official update for the mod in v1.2. I am just about 1/3 through reverting the zoom effect from most of the animation files. It will take me a few more days to complete but once the work is complete this should completely resolve the FOV zoom issue many were having (and the wall clipping).
v1.2 will also include a few other minor fixes too so stay tuned for the next update.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Update: Version 1.1 now has been released. This update fixes a few minor issues:
Version 1.0 of the Battle Rifle 77 mod has been released! Before you download please make sure to read the mod page description as this will give you all the details. The Known issues and FAQ section will answer most of the questions you most likely have. The forum section also has threads containing additional information as well.
I would like to give a quick shoutout to NovaFinch and schrivener07 for the awesome ammo counter framework they built too. Was very cool of them to share and allow me to use it for my weapon mod. I definitely plan to use the ammo counter for my future weapons in different ways when possible.
Is there a way to use my modlists default sounds with the gun instead of the custom ones?
Thanks for this mod, I love the leveling system it as, especially since I'm the type of player who likes to use one gun throughout most games that have weapons. Endorsed!
This weapon is my absolute favorite. And since to get upgrades you have to use it constantly, I use it almost constantly. I am really grateful. I have no idea how long I've used this weapon but probably more than half the time I've played Fallout 4. I created a patch that I believe solves the counter issues. Of course, you are welcome to modify it and/or incorporate it into the mod. It requires a F4se plugin. I tried not to stray from the original code even though there are now parts of original code that they are not necessaries. Thanks again.
Can someone please tell me what's the max number of kills required to fully upgrade the weapon? I'm currently at 1400+ and it's still going, with most of its skills at lv. 3. It has become a tedious process as I like switching to other guns for diversity and now I'm stuck with using BR77 to fully upgrade it and it seems such a long process. Thank you.
If anyone having the problem with the weapon with the bullet counter that lags when shooting, I fixed mine by right clicking f4se and uncheck the compatibly mode.Hope it helps.
This question has probably been addressed but there are a lot of comments to sift through so I will just ask and see if anyone will be willing to answer. Is there a way to make it not integrated into the leveled lists? This seems like a very special weapon and it seems odd that 1 or 2 of the raiders in every camp seem to have one.

or
if its script injected go to Quest sections and delete quests that has "LL" on it.
i might make this and upload as a separate patch since it seems the author is fine if we were to post compatibility patches.
tho im kinda a lazy bum since i never even uploaded any of my personal patches lol.
