I think we can all agree that moldy food is one of the most useless items in Fallout 4. It irradiates you more than it heals you, and who in their right mind would eat that drek anyway?
Thankfully, there is another use for moldy food- penicillin, one of the first and most successful antibiotics, was originally synthesised from bread mold. Now you can do it too! At a chemistry station, find the new recipe in Healing- same location as the vanilla antibiotics recipe. It requires 2 moldy food and 1 purified water. I've made a version that requires Chemist 1, and a version with no perk requirements if you just want to get crafting. The vanilla Antibiotics recipe is unchanged, and is still available to use as well.
This is my first mod, and I honestly don't know what I'm doing. But because it's nice and small, it shouldn't have any conflicts or issues.
