    Hey all!

An optional plugin for Cait and Piper was just uploaded. To clarify, you can play as a human with only the esm active while the companions are the Vulpine race.

Regarding tails they won't have them if you already met them in-game. In order for them to equip it follow these steps:

    1. Open the console, type "Help Inari 0"

    2. It should be the only armor the comes up, note the ID and select Piper or Cait.

    3. Enter "Equipitem (Armor ID)"

    Done.

If anyone is looking for a fox compatible gas mask may I recommend Just Another Gas Mask Or Not (JAGMON). The author was kind enough to create a optional file for male and female Vulpine's.

is there a way to make this mod work with BodyTalk V2?

I have been tinkering for a wile reading other peoples posts and such to find out what to do and so far i have only been able to change the mesh, so now my character is naked, but it doesnt have any texture and i have no idea what to do.

    most posts are not clear

If it has the same UV map, I don't see why not. Otherwise we'll need new textures for it.

BT2 and EVB both use the vanilla male body UV, with the extra bits added on an unused area of the texture canvas. So any BT2/EVB-compatible textures are also vanilla-compatible, and in turn BT2/EVB-compatible textures could be shipped with the mod while still keeping the default male body mesh as vanilla/nevernude.

@jarana, head over to LL and grab my WIP EVB textures from here, should be just what you need:

I second this, after seeing the new cat tail for player mod, an option for a vulpine tail for a normal player would be amazing

Can be done as a separate armor if you want to create a patch. In fact, during early testing, it was an armor and not a body part.

Hello, it has been sometime since I was abled to play Fallout 4. I always download this mod for my play throughs and love it always. I am curious of it though, Is there a chance or way to change the colors of the silvered fox to that of the silvered one from New Vegas. It was odd sounding of course but I missed the idea of my New Vegas vulpine going to the Commonwealth after her New Vegas quest! Thank you for your time as always.

We're actually working on a silver texture preset. The female is done, so keep an eye out in the future. :)

Hey Socrates been a while! Quick question. Could you maybe do a Curie conversion as well, for her Synth form? Maybe in a pink or similar colour to match her bubbly personality?

If not, how would I go about that? I know the Amazing Follower Tweaks mod allows you to modify follower looks, that could work for it right?

Sorry about the late response. I'll take a look into it, but last time I tried this with Curie, for some reason it wouldn't let me change the race. =/

It would be very cool if someone managed to make the tail work with physics and a digitigrade skeleton for this race. I mess with hdt smp in skyrim se and made some hairs/tails have physics, and i would be willing to do the same thing for this race's tail if i had any clue on how to work with fallout's physic

Is there a way to get rid of the boxer shorts on the male vulpines?

i think you'd have to edit the body texture to remove them

Male Vulpines have their own separate body mesh in the "meshes/Vulpine" folder, so you need to either replace it with a non-nevernude body file or edit the male naked body path in the plugin to point to the vanilla/default body path (so they use the same body mesh as humans do).

That's definitely a bit beyond my skill set, it would be great if it was a native option.

I'm afraid vanilla is all I'm supporting for now, since it has the most armor support. CBBE was an exception given the large amount of community support.

What about EVB male? That works with just about every armour in the game.

You can do it yourself already, just replace the "VulpineMaleBody.nif" with the BT2 body nif. You'll probably need proper nude textures to go with it, though; if you head over to LL, I posted some very-early-WIP nude male textures for Vulpines that, while far from ideal, should get the job done.

can you please clarify, im also trying to do this, but im not really an expert on mod, so far i have only made my character naked but i have no idea how to make the texture work, or how to even manipulate the mesh so the character looks bigger.
