This is a DeathClaw texture replacer in 4K resolution that adds chameleon scales to them.

Reptilic DeathClaws 4K
This is a DeathClaw texture replacer in 4K resolution.
Deathclaws are supposed to be mutated Chameleons, so I added a chameleon scale pattern to them and also recolored them and made them more vibrant.
As a bonus, the DeathClaw Gauntlet, Meat and Skin are also retextured.

These textures are now included in Thirdstorm's Unique NPCs - Creatures and Monsters of the Commonwealth amazing mod.

Optional [Performance] versions
3 different performance versions are available, each with a loose files and BA2 version.
All versions are standalone, main 4K files are NOT required.
Regarding VRAM, just for reference each 4K Deathclaw takes about 40MB of VRAM (glowing takes 50, due to extra glow map)
• 2K version:
Basically a half resolution version (uncompressed normals, just like main file). Each Deathclaw in average takes 10MB of VRAM.
• 2K Diffuse maps, 4K Normals,  1K Specular maps: 
As the title implies, this is a combination of 2K Diffuse maps, 4K compressed Normal maps and 1K Specular maps.
Since the scales are in the Normal map, this version looks closer to the full 4K main file even with a compressed normal map.
Each Deathclaw in average takes about 14MB of VRAM.
• 4K Diffuse maps, 2K Normals,  1K Specular maps: 
This is a combination of 4K Difuse maps, 2K compressed Normal maps and 1K Specular maps.
Diffuse contain the main colors and details, in game may look better than the full on 2K version.
Each Deathclaw in average takes about 14MB of VRAM.

Installation
For best results please use a Mod Manager such as Mod Organizer 2 or Vortex.

• Loose Files version:
1. Open your Fallout4.ini file found at 'Documents/My Games/Fallout4/Fallout4.ini" with a text editor such as Notepad.
2. Change the line that reads "sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\" to read "sResourceDataDirsFinal=STRINGS\, textures\"
3. Download with preferred Mod Manager and install like any other mod.

• BA version:
1. Download with preferred Mod Manager and install like any other mod.

* If installing manually, extract the 7z file to your Fallout4 game
directory (ultimately placing a "textures" folder in your already
existing Data directory)
Manual installation is NOT supported nor recommended.

Compatibility
This is a texture replacer and as such it isn't compatible with other texture replacers that replace the same textures. 

Update Log
• V3 - Hopefully final version. Completely redid Normal map utilizing a Chameleon scale pattern (Deathclaws are mutated Chameleons after all) Also made scales are not covering anything they're not supposed to cover (previous versions still have some horns and small details covered) Left the previous version up in case someone prefers them and also in case you want to get loose version and give different normal maps to different types of Deathclaws.
• V2 - Corrected Normal maps Red and Green channels so that scales now look convex instead of concave.
• v1 - Initial release.
