Inspired by the works of the modder known as HonorableVista - link found here to his Nexus page https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/users/9747438?tab=user+images - this mod seeks to re-invent the way Power Armor and their mods function in Fallout 4.

Here is a list and overview of what this mods changes introduce. This list will be added on and improved through future entries and updates.

1: Unbreakable Power Armor Parts.

Given how Item Degradation doesn't exist for weapons and other armor sets in Fallout 4, it always came across as a redundant concept for Power Armor to be the only items in the game to breakdown from use when your gun or suit of Combat Armor doesn't. Until a mod is introduced that re-introduces the Weapon and Armor degradation mechanic of the previous Fallout games, and the upcoming Fallout 76 will be doing for its in-game gear, Power Armor no longer will break with this mod.

2: New Mods and stats

The stats of all suits of Power Armor can no longer be upgraded through the traditional means as you know them to do. The Alphabetic Armor linings have been revamped into a new line of armor mods as listed here

A: Powered Infantry. Rusted retexture removed. Standard issue lining for all suits of Power Armor

B: Explosive Shielding. Reduces damage from explosives.

C: Titanium Plating. Improves speed and agility. Reduces radiation protection and weight.

D: Golden Embodiment. Improves Luck.

E: Hardened. Improves Damage and Energy Resistance. (Multiplies armor's base stats by 2)

F: Photovoltaic Coating. Increases Action Point refresh speed in sunlight.

As a means to compensate for how these new lining mods work, all suits of base-game Power Armor will now possess the same stats as they would when upgraded to the stats that they would with the D/Mk.IV Linings. And their Body Part Data stats have been lowered as a means of providing more damage resistance on top of that. And these new mods will be far more expensive on resources and perks in order to build them as well.

3: New names

T-45 is now the T-45d

T-51 is now the T-51b

T-60 is now the T-60c

New names for the suits. From the old names sported by the original pre-war armors, to a new name for the T-60 suits which I felt role off the tongue well the most for them.

4: New Paints

All Paints within the Material section when customizing your Power Armor no longer requires any materials to make them - excluding faction paints which requires you to join said factions they belong to before hand - and now all hold the same mod effect of increasing the users Charisma when all pieces are worn together. It also re-vamps some of the effect-based material mods into new paint sets for your armors too.

5: New Lore

Raider, T-45d and T-51b Armor will now be the only suits you can loot for free in the world. Raider armor still being used by Raiders, as T-45d and T-51b suits spawn in their appropriate locations.

T-60c Armor however, will now go the same route for the Brotherhood of Steel as the Enclave's X-02 Armor did in Fallout 3. As the X-01 Armor will now stand as a unique one of a kind suit which can now only be located in its own separate location.

And thanks to a set of new texture files donated to me that were developed by HonorableVista, the X-01 Quantum Armor will now be revamped as a suit of unique T-51b Power Armor known as the Quantum Hero Armor. As the red Nuka Cola equivalent Armor will now be known as the Nuka Hero Armor

6: Patches & Updates

I do plan on making patches for other Power Armor Mods across the Nexus and Creation Club. This will take some time, due to how many PA mods exist, but don't be afraid to ask for patches for whatever mods that exist which includes Power Armor as a major element to them, and I'll work as diligently as I can to get those mods prepared.

7. New Paints

Leaded: Dark Plating
EMP: Enclave Paint
Thermal: Institute Courser Paint
Standardized paints for Institute, Railroad and Minutemen Armor color schemes for all 4 sets of Vanilla Armor
