For anyone having problems with the machine animations, or with world placed machines stacking up on top of one another, or any other problems that make the mod not function properly...
If you have updated the mod from a previous version you MUST start a new game. I know it's not the most ideal situation but the machine scripts do not allow for simply picking up the game where you left off. Because some of the scripts were changed, any machines already in the game from a previous save will cease to function and in some cases, more machines will be added on top of them. You can try deleting the mod, loading your saved game and making a new save before adding the updated mod, but I will not guarantee this will work. The only way to ensure you are getting a clean version of the mod is to start a new game once you've updated the mod to the latest version. If you have a save that PREDATES any installation of the mod, you should be able to start from that point after installing the latest version of the mod.

I just discovered another part of the mod that I neglected to include in the main archive, the behavior files for a number of the multi-stage animated activators. These are a must for those activators to function properly. Because I don't want to make another complete update, I added those files as a separate archive. All you need to do is extract the zip file into your Fallout 4/Data folder. My apologies. When the CK didn't include the custom idles in the archive, I should have realized that it didn't include these either. I simply forgot.

I know I'm late in the game and nobody may be checking up on this mod anymore but I was wondering if I could get some help here, I installed the mod on a fresh game, never had any version of this mod before I installed it nearly just after coming out of the vault. I put my caps in the vending machines at the Red Rocket but none of them will let me make a selection or respond to interacting at all after putting the caps in. All of the selections for the normal vending machines just mention me putting caps in, rather than being selections and it won't even take any more caps after putting them in for the first time. The behavior files are listed as old and were uploaded a bit before the latest upload of the mod so I didn't think they were still necessary in order to make the vending machines function, are they still necessary? Is this a mod conflict or anything else that someone might be aware of?

This is probably a stupid question (and a little over a year and some change late asking it) but after completing the quest and having a certain item in hand, are we entitled to anything other than crafting the new machines and I'm being oblivious where to pick up said entitlement?

If you got 'the thing' from the 'hidden place' and the quest is finished, you will receive a notification every few days as to 'stuff' being added to your inventory.

I could still not figure out where i have to look. I searched in Nuka World, Farhabor and nearly every possible place in the Commonwealth, could i please get a little hint to where that mentioned "hidden place" is?

PS:Awesome mod, wont leave my loadorder ever!

Thanks upfront and have a nice day

Will it be possible to get a lore-friendly version one day? Well, a lore friendly art version? Rather than the innuendo laden art?

I appreciate your input, and I will take your suggestion into consideration. I'm not much of a lore-friendly builder other than the fact that I try to make items that fit the over-all aesthetic of the game. One of my weaknesses is my tendency to infuse my work with a bit of sophomoric humor and I don't see myself ever really getting away from that. If you read through my response to the previous comment though, you'll see that there is still a ray of hope for those who bristle at the idea of including a few wiener jokes in a mod, despite the fact that there seems to be a never ending stream of scantily clad, large breasted characters added to the sight every day. When I get around to revamping some of my earlier work, I will definitely consider including some less suggestive content.

Okay awesome. That's good to know.
This is still one of my favourite mods, regardless.
Though as a personal taste I don't tend to have all the scantily clad, mega-breasted CBBE "slooty" looks everywhere like a lot of people seem to thrive with in Bethesda's games. I never really saw the appeal of it.

But I appreciate you getting back to me. Even if It's taken me months to reply to you ha. I still think this mod is pretty great.

Same, though the vending machines overall are more lore-friendly than the mini-fridge design of the base game vending machines. Although I really like the Squirty bar advert "What does a pretty girl in a sweater have to do with candy? Nothing but she sells a lot of candy".

No bug. The quest only has one stage and there are no quest markers. Just read the quest info on the pipboy and go from there.

I messed this up too. Go to the quest inside the pip boy and hit the button that shows more detail. It will give you the note you are missing

Everything you can find is inside YuCorp Headquarters. Specifically, on the third floor.

Just wanted to stop in and say a quick thank you, I love this mod and that you made, not only working vending machines but made them animated and detailed and just plain fun. Keep up the great work and I am really looking forward to the upcoming mods you have been teasing. Kudos.

Very great mod. Been looking for an immersion mod for a while when it comes to getting drinks instead of buy at vendors or picking drinks of dead npc. i though about make a mod like a Realtor or something. (you dont make enough caps in this game), but dont know how to mod. The game feels off, like i dont know like a mail system like horizion does, or a quest mod that brings life into the world or a marriage system like in skyrim. i love horizon mod but it changes everything in the game. theres some mods that just cant work with horizon. Just havent figure out what i want to do. If anybody have any suggestions, let me know here. i will keep check back or you can message me personal. i realy love this mod. Thank you for taking the time to make this mod for everybody to enjoy. Stay Modding My Friends.

Hi, i've been having some bad CTDs around and in Concord-Red Rocket territory and i might think that this mod might be causing it. Is there a way i can take out all the vending machines from locations where they are placed using fo4edit? Sorry for bad explanation, english is not my first language.
EDIT: It wasn't caused by this mod, however i still crash in the build mode when i try to enter yuvend inc workshop menu

Howdy! I love this mod----it is so neat to see the machines out in the world. Thanks so much for making this.

Also, Mortercotic just made a patch for this mod to make all the vendables VIS-G compatible for sorting. https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/40666?tab=description
