Randomly spawns angry skeletons in the wild. The higher your level, the bigger the group that spawns.
This works (only in the Commonwealth worldspace, not in the cities) by pinging all living actors one cell away from you. Every actor has a 10% chance of becoming the spawn point for a motley crew of skull supremacists. It's not 10% additive, and there's no guarantee it kicked in in your path, so you could go a while without running into them. The composition of the skeleton ball is RNG but weighted for lots of feral-type skeletons and only a few supermutant-type/glowing-type skeletons.
Known issues: for some reason the ferals in particular retain their feral growly voices. This is me giving up on that. Hopefully I figure it out and can do something about that down the line.
I recommend https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/17640 to upgrade the default skeleton texture.
This has not been thoroughly tested, will probably break other mods, has not been applied to DLC content and will likely never be updated. I had fun making it and if you have fun playing it, now two people have had fun. Everybody wins!
Shout outs to CROSS Crit Gore-verhaul (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/23780/) and Maxwell's World (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/18949/) for many useful protips.
