OK, so I'm late...  I'm retired and now have time to play all the stuff I've bought in the last few years....  ANYWAY, yes, I do like the replacement weapons.  Bethesda has a very twisted idea of what is and would have been available and the development timeline of technology (Seriously look at what we trend toward now and the absolute snail's pace of development for power needs let alone energy weapons, which I seriously doubt will find 'breakthroughs').  Even the radiation problem after 200 years is wrong, but I digress.   What I am looking for is a mod that eliminates the energy weapons totally, and replaces them with similar conventional weapons, i.e., a rifle for a rifle, etc.  Nexus is the only place I've looked since it is a central location to find anything, but does anyone ANYONE know if such a mod exists??

My time in the military and now retired and working in high tech fields like nanotech make me thoroughly believe that the scenario portrayed in the game  and the things available is totally wrong.  lol, and another thing...  Who in their right minds would buy those ugly assed cars??  Another trend Beth got wrong and should be smacking people upside the head.

You do realize that Fallout is themed around 50's-60's sci-fi and general retrofuturism, and in no way is meant to be realistic or a genuine prediction of what kind of tech would be available in the 2070's, right? Its one thing if you don't want that stuff in your game, but complaining that Bethesda "got it wrong" when they were never aiming to be right is silly.

I don't know of any such thing myself, you'd probably be better off using google than asking in random nexus comments.

Would be great if it didn't require so many files to add to it. Makes it a pain to add so I gave up on it, but my I highly compliment you on great work on a good looking weapon, I regret I can't use it as some of the add on files for it are being stubborn for me.

This fixes the wild damage that the original mod has. Thank you so much. I do miss the vanilla riffles sometimes though.

When I use any of your replacers (I use Vortex autodownload) the weapon is replaced but has the vanilla weapon name and has the same animations as the vanilla weapon. For example: I replaced this weapon with the plasma rifle and the weapon was replaced but still was named "Plasma Rifle" and had the same animations as the plasma rifle. The weapon was completely bugged, I couldn't shoot and it was just unpleasant. I'm pretty sure it's nothing wrong with the mod it's that I'm doing it wrong. How do I fix it because I would love to use your replacers.

Make sure that the weapon mod itself is loaded before the replacer, as doing the opposite (even if your mod manager says otherwise), will cause the weapon in question to bug out. If that doesn't work, try reinstalling both mods with fresh downloads, and if that too doesn't work, try a fresh FO4 install with the weapons set up to see if that corrects the issue. I've had this issue multiple times in the past and those corrections fix the problem for me every time.

I just wish the reticle was compatible with FO4 VR :(

I can only shoot from the hip as it is, because the reticle doesn't point in any specific direction and is dependend on the angle you look into it.
Any chance you'd edit this to attach a regular stock reflex sight? Or iron sights?

Not by me personally. I've already given someone else permission to port them so try searching on Bethesda.net
