About this mod
So I've decided to try my hand at mods now that I finally got the Creation Kit to work for me. I liked the Boylston Club and always thought it'd be neat to have that as a kind of base in the middle of Boston.

Re-uploaded the file. It should only be flagged for the base game now, instead of for the workshops that weren't even used in this.
That said, I know next to nothing about how to use the Creation Kit. I messed around a bit with the New Vegas G.E.C.K. to decorate the hotel room you get in Novac and then thought I might give it a try in this game too. So this is technically my first ever mod? Yay????
I used a tutorial to change most of the clutter objects I added into static ones so they won't get thrown around. I realized afterwards that it makes them unscrappable in workshop mod. You might still be able to scrap them with one of the Scrap Everything mods on here but I haven't tried that out yet. Let me know?
There's a toolbox on the ground floor that should act as a workshop. I say should because while it works for me, I know nothing about scripting so there might be some hiccups somewhere along the way with it. It does have all of the categories like a settlement workshop though since I don't know how to limit those. I'd like for it to act like the workshop in Home Plate so if someone could walk me through how to do that, that would be awesome. Since it's an interior cell, I guess you don't need to set boundaries, so you can use the workshop both downstairs and up. You just have to go back to normal play mode and use the elevator.
Now, on to everything else!!!
Downstairs:
The inside of the building never made any sense to me. There's no way that the only thing on the first floor was a hallway with a door to outside on one end, and an elevator on the other. So I added an apartment on the right side and a inaccessible door on the left to make it look like there's a second apartment. I wanted the added apartment to look like it'd be realistic in terms of space and the outside of the building made it look like they could only be so wide. Sure, it wouldn't really make sense to have such small apartments in the same building as what was clearly a classy, expensive bar pre-war, but I didn't want to change the world space that Bethesda already had, just add to it. Not sure what floor the club is technically supposed to be on, since the window placements don't match up with what the building looks like from the outside, but oh well. Magic. Anyway, the downstairs apartment has a chem station, armor and weapons workbench but no cooking station because the only stove that acts as one doesn't five the kitchen set. I tried to see if I can just put the cooking station in there and change the mesh to the static stove but.... you end up standing inside the stove when using it. And I ended up in the wall when I exited the crafting menu. If you really need one you can just add it with the workshop I guess. Also there's a power armor station in the hallway.
What would've been the bedroom now has other crafting stations and some storage containers. All containers in the cell are player owned and set to not respawn.
Upstairs:
Rearranged some of the things. Moved the pool table from it's little corner because really? Who thought that's a good place for it? You can't really get any good shots lined up there! As for the pool balls... don't say it. I hyper-fixated, leave me alone. And make sure to say hi to Freddy the Flamingo.
Overall, I didn't want to add too much stuff since I did manage to make the workshop work. Literally the main reason I made this was because I wanted the deco clutter to be static because trying to place those in-game is a pain
Let me know if you run into any problems and I'll try my best to fix them.
.....sorry
