I have before/after preset shots for all of these, so I'll be adding a few on here and sfx.thelazy at some point. And now that I'm nearing a green aesthetic that I like, a reworked "B" variant preset tailored to that should follow.
>remove the dxgi.dll file from Load accelerator from FO4 directory >Install ReShade succesfully >rename the new dxgi.dll (from Reshade) to dxgi_linked.dll >Install Load Accelerator again (overwrite everything when asked) >Profit
Finally figured it out myself. This reshade is much older and requires the older version. You can find it here http://www.mediafire.com/file/5dk9p03ibglgago/ReShade+1.1.0+with+SweetFX+2.0.7z . Replace the .txt file with the from from this mod in the SweetFX folder after installation and done! Really beautiful mod I'm surprised it hasn't impacted my fps unlike uglier ones.
Always found most ReShade presets way too... overstuffed(?) for normal gameplay. Great if you're a screenarcher, bad if you just want to play the game normally. This preset is a breath of fresh air. It looks great, plays well and looks nice in screenshots as well. My head doesn't hurt after a minute of playing either! God only knows why it isn't more popular here on the Nexus. Great job, thank you!
popularity doesn't necessarily mean much you know, people can fall for the hype of a new released mod, only to find out that it can ruin your save or have gamebreaking bugs and other things. Some users also only download and endorse mods found in the hot files, because they don't bother looking for mods that could perfectly fit what they're looking for.
Been like that since a looong time. Best mods aren't necessarily the most endorsed
So, I couldn't help but post this... I love the look of this preset and the idea that it should have nearly zero performance loss sounded like a dream. However I simply can't seem to get this working: I went through the whole installation process, as stated in the description, the reshade installer said the installation was a succes, and I put your config file where it was supposed to be, so I click the game ready to savor my shiny new wasteland, and BAM! Fallout 4 has stopped working, as soon as I try to start the game up. I didn't even get to the main menu, and I tried turning my settings to low in the launcher. I uninstalled everything afterwards and then the game started working again. I also tried installing just reshade without your preset and it still didn't work, I'm really, really sorry if this is a noob question but I couldn't find an answer anywhere on the internet. It might be worth mentioning that my pc isn't exactly high-end, but I could play the game on high without much problems (except for a very occasional stutter) and used to play skyrim with a fancy enb with pretty hardcore DoF and bloom, and all effects active, so I don't think it should be causing any problems. Thank you in advance for any help and have a nice day! Edit: Is this mod dead?
Great ReShade preset. I've tried basically every other preset on the Nexus, and this is the best, by far. A lot of them look good for screenshoting, but not for playing -- but this is good for both. Thanks!
