About this mod

Adds a workshop to both the interior and exterior of Nuka-World's Fizztop Grille home, along with an additional lore-friendly room and some toggle options. Most objects within Fizztop are also scrappable, companions cannot be sent here and it isn't a settlement.

This mod aims to fix a potential flaw/oversight on Bethesdas half in relation to the Fizztop Grille player home in the Nuka-World DLC. Simply, it's rubbish. Why on earth did they not bother to put a workbench in the interior at least? Well, no matter, this mod does just that and more.

Description

Nuka-World Fizztop Grille Workshop is a mod that turns the Nuka-World player home into a workshop ready one, adding an interior ONLY workbench to both the interior and exterior of Fizztop Grille, and adding a little bit more.

On top of the workbench additions, there is also a terminal that you can use to toggle things on/off, such as certain lights and objects that can't be scrapped. The majority of objects within the interior and exterior of Fizztop can be scrapped without the use of scrap mods (see "Compatibility" below if using), there are fuseboxes for power, a working workshop border for the exterior and both levels of the interior are workshop compatible. Also, both workbenches are linked as are all the crafting stations.

Another addition is a lore-friendly extra room that makes use of the left elevator door that is closed off in the vanilla game. This leads down to a small "staff room" that you can decorate, within it are some notes for tiny bits of additional story and the new area is navmeshed as well.

Again, this is NOT a settlement and I have no plans to make it so. Fizztop Grille wasn't designed to work with the workshop mode, so making it a settlement can be very problematic, this alone had a fair share of issues. With that in mind, companions cannot be sent here either, unfortunately. The whole "send to" system is convoluted, to say the least, and after trying to get it to work I realised it was more trouble than it was worth.

Installation & Uninstallation

To install, just drag everything into your Fallout 4 "Data" folder or use a mod manager.

I highly recommend enabling this mod on a file that is saved outside of Nuka-World, or at least in an interior within the park.

To uninstall, delete the three files added (Nuka-World Fizztop Grille esp & the Main.BA2 and Textures.BA2 files). Ensure that before you do, you scrap everything added that may conflict with the vanilla objects as they will return upon disabling the mod.

Compatibility

Because of the nature of this mod, new precombined data had to be created. Any mods that add, edit or delete things within the two cells that make up the exterior and, of course, the interior will conflict with this (see image above for affected area).

The use of the "Scrap Everything" mod with this may also cause a small issue, but nothing damaging. All that will probably happen is that the scrap yield from objects in that will be overwritten (or overwrite) by the yields in this mod.

Bugs & Other Notes

Because of the new data, the area surrounding Fizztop Grille may take slightly longer to load, but this will be system dependent and Nuka-World is already taxing on a fairly high-end system.

The Pack gate has been known to disappear at times, but sometimes reappears upon moving near to it, plus this doesn't prohibit access to the amphitheatre. It is unknown why exactly this happens, and even more mysterious on how to fix, but isn't a major issue to warrant further lengthy investigation.
