About this mod

Reclaim the entirety of Jamaica Plains!

Changelogs
So, you've cleared an entire small town of ghouls, fought your way through traps to find the hidden treasure, and you decide this is now the perfect place to build not just a settlement, but the beginnings of a new city, perhaps to even rival Diamond City itself, and to give people a chance at a life of normalcy. Strangely, though, you find yourself unable to build beyond a couple city blocks. Why? The entire town should have been yours for the taking after all that work! Well, now it is!

Jamaica Plains borders have been expanded to cover the whole town, and it is yours for the taking! Tear down the old, and put up new, or use the old as a foundation, it's your choice to do with as you please! Much of the original lazy texturing and height-mapping has been fixed, while maintaining true to the original town design. Mounds of "trash" and "rubble" textured ground protruding through floors have been flattened and re-textured to look like normal, fitting ground such as gravel, grass, and dirt, as well as making areas with animated grass protruding through the floors a thing of the past.

Though I know others have tackled this settlement before, I wasn't 100% on board with all their changes. This one leaves the mod as close to vanilla as possible, to leave room for optimal customization. Much of the uneven and poorly smoothed terrain has been cleaned up and fixed, to make for easier building, as well as making it possible to scrap more junk around town without leaving weird gaping holes between base objects such as sidewalks, retaining walls, and roads. The parking lot area of the original settlement has had the asphalt texture replaced with gravel/dirt, to allow placement of dirt only workshop items. Also... The CHURCH is 100% available to use, without unsightly mounds of rubble and trash going through the middle of it.

The settlement's building and sandbox borders have been expanded to cover the entire town, including a small portion of the irradiated lake, for purifier placement. I would caution players against scrapping too much of the actual building structure, at least the ground floor, of the  town hall, as I don't know what effects that could have on the game's quest, though I would recommend activating this mod AFTER doing the quest in the first place, just to be safe.

I chose not to touch or replace any of the boarded up houses, at least for the moment, so the mod SHOULD be compatible with Beantown Interiors, since that mod does modify some of them. They do seem to be safe to scrap if you don't use BI, without getting the disappearing textures bug, but I can't be 100% sure on that. I am considering turning one or two of them into interior cells, perhaps a player home as well.

I'm not sure how to make the named corpses disappear after you've gotten what you need from them, so if anyone knows how, let me know and I'll fix it. Currently I'd suggest scrapping them with scrap everything mod, which I highly recommend anyways.

As always, I am up for constructive criticism, suggestions, and requests. If there is anything I missed, please screenshot it and I'll get to it as soon as possible.

Since I know some people don't like using it due to heavy system usage, I may make a version that is not compatible with Beantown Interiors, and replace the boarded up buildings with custom ones of my own, if there's enough of a demand for it.

Recommended(But Not Required) Mods to go with JP-RoaNC:
Scrap Everything
Higher Settlement Budget
Immersive Scrapping
Insignificant Object Remover (May help with FPS)
Place Everywhere
Increased Settler Population
Multiple Floors Sandboxing

Future Plans:
Optional Version with boarded up houses made usable.
Fix vanilla ruined houses floors so placed items don't fall through them.
