Is anyone else seeing a crazy shivering on the second "Shack Wall - Corner with Roof"? My eyes hurt.

Yeah, I had to delete that piece from a settlement for that same reason.

I installed this mod but it actually removed a lot of the existing build content. For example, in the Structures - Wooden - Walls section, there are the three sub categories of the mod, but many of the vanilla walls were simply no longer there. Anyone else experience this?

Yes, I encountered the same thing. Installed yesterday went to build some walls and the only thing in the wall section were the new angled pieces.

This is not correct at least in sofaras version 1 (and possibly version 2 uncategorised). I've installed version 1 of this mod (alongside half-width shack walls, buildable small cabins, street vendors new trader stalls, jangles shack replacer, campfires & fireplaces, some craftable tree thing etc, etc, etc) and not found any problem. The only issue so far is that for a few of them sometimes their little preview pics don't show in the menu (but will still show in green in front of you, so you can still see what they are), but that's a common minor issue.

If you are using version 1 and still have a problem, it's probably that settlement menu manager (or similar mod), or some major crafting mod overhaul like homemaker etc, or another smaller mod which introduces potential conflicts by adding it's own categories (or tweaking existing ones), and so on. But just adding various small mods like I have they all behave.

For those who still look for mods like this, I DO have SMM and I experienced apcrcom's issue as well.. This mod (I installed the 'categorized' version) takes over then entire wood wall category, blocking everything including vanilla items. (I DON'T have Homemaker as someone else said may have caused the problem).

Solution: I uninstalled the 'categorized' version and installed the 'uncategorized' version in its place which completely resolved the issue. Everything, including this mod, is now playing nice with each other.

      Conclusion: Avoid the 'categorized' version.

For people just getting into settlement building (or for those who've upgraded to the PC version of Fallout 4), cVc Dead Wasteland - CORENew Shack Walls, and Half Width Shack Walls add new wooden walls that can help your settlement feel less repetitive.

@Mechaknack - you just essentially repeated much of my comment's content without even the politeness of referring to it nor to previous comments below which in fact had already reached your added solution & conclusion. As for my original post, I was merely responding to apcrcom's comment because on face value it is incorrect, and I explained why it is incorrect.

Anyway, I'm only bothering to repond because you then added some advice which I feel is a tad misplaced. Namely, cVc is not "for people just getting into settlement building" - it's for advanced use, and can have a few issues. Nor is SMM advised for noobs as quite a few settlement mods don't always work too well with it installed (whether they actually use that system or not). In fact, I would hardly recommend any such mods for novices, with a very few rare exceptions of a small well-functioning mod like Half Width Shack Walls. And I'd only recommend the novice to at most v1 of this Expanded Settlement Buildings mod, and even then only with the proviso that its raised plywood walkway is a bit too funky (doesn't always fit on the ground let alone snap properly).

@NavaroBL: Yeah, extremely hurtful and harmful for people who have trouble reading, like you for example.

The shack floor on the first picture, why does it miss the corner and how to use this?

Put four of them together (2x2) so there is a hole in the middle of the room. Then you can pretend its The Eyrie from GoT and throw people down it.

there is same roof piece, with missing corner in vanilla items i think it serves as counterpart for it,because as mod author stated, those parts he added are forgoten by bethesda..

Btw there is plenty of things they had finished,or almost finished in state you just add texture, snappoint or create recipe, but they did not add them ,maybe because of time or because of they just did not carre enought, who knows, but if they realy wanted they can release new build kit every moth for a year or so maybe longer :D

If you have other mods that add walls to the wood section use the uncategorized version

    COMPATIBILITY NOTE:

If you use DDProductions83's mods "Craftable Floor Supports" , "Craftable Pillars and Support braces" , and/or "Craftable Interior Shack Doorway Wall" then you need to use the UNCATEGORIZED version of this mod in order for those building pieces to be used. They will not show up in the categorized menus.

I'm happy they work together. After using DDP's mods I could not play without them. The categorized Wood>Walls menu sounded nice, but I care a lot less about losing that than losing the building pieces this mod adds.

Thank you!! It honestly feels like bethesda rushed the hell out of fallout 4, they forgot like half the content, and the DLC was just random crap.

Awesome mod. I find it totally indispensable... which is why now that evil Steam auto-updated my FO4 install and broke it beyond belief I'm screaming bloody murder and totally !@$##$'d!

But I digress... will there be an update for this in the foreseeable future?
