You'd think after 200 years that at least one person besides that one shack from NV (Thanks moriartykain) would get the idea of making fake bottlecaps. It is just steel with logo on it, no serial number or anything. This is a simple mod that adds a machine to create bottlecaps out of steel (What they are made out of in real life).
Settlement Effects: Increases Settlement Happiness By 10 Decreases Settlement Defense By 15
Requirements: Contraptions DLC
Compatibility: This mod is compatible with every mod. There should be no conflicts. It has standalone objects, variables, and scripts.
Warning: It is not wise to replicate the image above as it took my 1080ti to about 4fps. I recommend sending all caps directly into a container.
But is it Immersive? Technically Speaking, no. In pounds, a bottlecap would weigh about 0.005lbs meaning one in game steel (ingot?) would produce 200 bottlecaps each. But creating this many entities would completely r*pe any computer so 200 was reduced to 15 due to human technological limits. Now immersive as you want! With MCM you can set how many bottlecaps that are outputted. (Default: 15, Mathematical: 200)
Future Plans: (This, of course, directly responds to how well this mod does)
Make an optional file for lower end machines that reduces how many caps are produced/entities to reduce lag.
Create a new material called scrap steel that could be remolded into steel. Kind of like metal casting.
