This mod could be considered a simplified version of my Special Ops Goggles mod. It adds togglable night vision and life detector abilities to both the Marine Armor Helmet and Marine Tactical Helmet from the Far Harbor DLC, because let's be honest - they should've had them in the first place as one of the loading screens implies. The Marine Tactical Helmet now also allows you to breathe underwater.

The keybinds for the night vision and life detector are separate, and can be set to whatever you like in the mod configuration menu. During the mod's installation you can choose how bright you want the night vision to be based on Darker Nights. If you don't use Darker Nights (or a similar mod) I highly recommend that you do, otherwise the night vision is basically redundant since the vanilla nights are so bright.


Installation

Due to the scripted fomod used to configure the night vision brightness, I highly recommend using a mod manager for installation. Should you choose to install manually, a readme file is included in the archive with installation instructions. The mod requires F4SE and the Mod Configuration Menu.
