Cut Weapon Mods Restored

After seeing the Marksman's Stock with a bipod in a loading screen, I thought I'd see about implementing it as a new weapon mod. In the process, I found a short Marksman's Stock, so I thought that I would fix it up, make another version of it with a bipod, and then implement all three stocks as new mods.

Since then, I've found a number of other mods, either left behind in the game files as models (working or not), or hidden in parts of the actual game data. There are a few others that I haven't added, but I haven't been able to get them to work, so I'm not able to add them. If anyone knows of any others that aren't here, feel free to let me know in the comments or in a PM. Do the same thing if you have any comments on the crafting requirements or the balance of the mods.

Installation Instructions (Manual):
  1. Extract the files from the download, and take the ESP(s) and BA2(s) from the GOTY or Non-GOTY folder (depending on the DLCs you have and what you want), and put it in the Fallout 4 Data folder (\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data).
  2. If you use any of the mods listed in the Patches folder, then take the ESP(s) out of the appropriate folders and put them in the Fallout 4 Data Folder too.
  3. Go to the Fallout 4 config folder (Users\Username\Documents\My Games\Fallout4), open the Fallout4Prefs.ini in Notepad (or similar) and make sure that bEnableFileSelection=1 is in the [Launcher] section.
  4. In the same folder, open Fallout4Custom.ini, and add the following lines:
  5. [Archive]
    bInvalidateOlderFiles=1
    sResourceDataDirsFinal=
  6. Make sure that both files are saved, and then enable the ESP(s) through the plugin tab in NMM, or in the plugins.txt file. Make sure that the patches are after the mods they require.
If the last two instructions aren't clear, I would recommend checking out Gopher's FALLOUT 4: Enabling Modding for PC video.

Installation Instructions (NMM):
  1. Simply download the main file through NMM, and install the mod, following the installer to choose the options you're going to use.
  2. Go to the Fallout 4 config folder (Users\Username\Documents\My Games\Fallout4), open the Fallout4Prefs.ini in Notepad (or similar) and make sure that bEnableFileSelection=1 is in the [Launcher] section.
  3. In the same folder, open Fallout4Custom.ini, and add the following lines:
  4. [Archive]
    bInvalidateOlderFiles=1
    sResourceDataDirsFinal=
  5. Make sure that both files are saved, and then activate the mod in NMM.
  6. Now enable the ESP(s) through the plugins tab. Make sure that the patches are after the mods they require.
For help with this, check out Gopher's FALLOUT 4: Installing mods using Nexus Mod Manager video.

Update Instructions (Manual):
  1. Remove all weapon mods that come from this mod from any weapons they're attached to, and save the game.
  2. Deselect the ESP(s) in NMM, or delete them from the plugins.txt file.
  3. Go to the Fallout 4 Data folder, and remove the old ESP(s) and BA2(s).
  4. Follow the rest of the installation instructions from above, skipping steps 2 and 3.

Update Instructions (NMM):
  1. Remove all weapon mods that come from this mod from any weapons they're attached to, and save the game.
  2. Deselect the ESP(s) in NMM.
  3. Uninstall and delete the old version of the mod.
  4. Follow the rest of the installation instructions from above, skipping steps 2 and 3.

Notes:
  • On certain weapons, some of the shapes for the reflex scopes can be hard to see. They are definitely there, but due to how Bethesda set them up, they're just not always noticeable.

Bugs:
  • The mini nukes fired while locked onto someone with the Targeting Computer do home in on them, but it's a little buggy if it's not fired into the air first. Obviously, this isn't too big an issue if you're outside, but I'd advise against using it in a building, just in case it decides to blow the nuke up in your face. This applies to the MIRV version as well, though the issue is less obvious due to how you fire that anyway.
