Great looking... crashes my game for some reason though :( Got other settlements just as big and detailed, oh well. Gives me a chance to build it myself.
I had the same issue- trying to get far enough away from that cell and into an interior cell where it was safe to save. Within 30 seconds to a minute after leaving the area (after settlement is finished loading, I get the crash too) (I have graphics set to High instead of Ultra, which might be one of the issues for some). Also, make sure to have autosave turned off or something, otherwise it can cause the game to freeze. Other than that, awesome job on the settlement. I just wanted to compliment the author on an awesome job for this settlement; words can't express the appreciation for all the work they put into it. Unfortunately it seems every time I load this not 30 seconds after I start walking away from the settlement the game crashes. And I thought I had a pretty good computer to run 3,700+ pieces; but after the third time it happening, I can't use it. It inspired me to do more with the settlement I created for it, just not as many pieces. Kudos :)
Something odd happened. Got the call to defend the crossing, I'm lol because it's super defended. I go there and all power is down. Never happened before. Is this just a game glitch? Went back a day or two later, same thing. Should I just scrap and rebuild? Everything was working when it was originally built.
You might want to be on the lookout for institute saboteurs. Over time, your settlers will be replaced by synths who WILL sabotage your settlement, often (quite coincidentally, I'm sure) just before an attack.
Seriously - there are a few highlighting mods out there that will highlight synth infiltrators. One of the projects I'm TRYING to get done is a synth detector - the idea is that if a synth comes within it's radius, it'll get zapped. As soon as I can get my head wrapped around texturing in 3DSMax, it'll be out ...........

don't sweat it - they'll appear in "normal" positions when the cell gets reset.
