This is the closest to canon Feral Ghouls have sounded so far. Even Vanilla messed them up. Ferals are NOT Zombies, they are NOT Aliens. They should sound like Humans gone mad. I want to shoot a Feral Ghoul and have it whine like the poor, pathetic wretch it is. I want to walk into a room and hear one sobbing to itself in the darkness. Then I want it to shriek with a sick cackle as it launches at me. But no, everyone makes them "click"...
Juicehead did a video showing he was using both mods together, so yeah, it looks like they are compatible. That was at least a couple of years ago however so it is possible something may have changed since then but that seems unlikely.
There's no need for a patch, you have to install both. In my case I installed FERAL first, and then Terrifyer on top, replacing the conflicting files. This way Terrifyer takes precedence, but you could also do the opposite.
Realized I endorsed a hot minute ago and never said anything. Damn fine replacer, combined with the reverb overhaul it makes urban exploration tense as shit.
