Before finding this mod (I was looking for one that would turn Atom Cats Garage into a settlement so I could use the Scrap Everything mod to clean the place up a bit) I used console commands to make Peepers essential during the attack then reverted him/her back to non-essential status once the attack was over.
Then I found this mod which pretty much tidies the place up without making it a settlement but I wonder if activating this mod AFTER the attack is going to cause issues.
It should run fine. I did not change the scripted event. All i did was change Peepers by putting him in protected status. The event itself is unchanged. So if peepers is already dead then he will remain dead.
Well he's still alive as of now but mainly I just wanted to make sure I wasn't going to cause a conflict with this mod via me using means other than this to keep him alive.
hello, looks great, like always! If u dont mind, i have some suggestions and what bothering me in this places :) : Graygarden (too much garbage), Spectacle Island (destroyed buildings and garbage), Red Rocket truck stop settlement (just too much garbage), Egret Tours Marina (garbage and broken buildings), Dartmouth Professional building (fps drops, lags and a lot of garbage around), Thanks in advice!
Thank you. I do plan to work on settlements in the near future as part of my settlement package. Though I do not plane to remove the trash as many people have mods that allow you to scrap these items already. However, I do plan to repair structures that exist in the settlements already. As for the Dartmouth building, this is one that I had not considered. I will have to give this one some thought. You are right though, it does drop fps in this area so I may do something here.
I can only speak from as far back as Fallout 3 but it never sat well with me that towns, settlements and in particular, militaristic locations, were content to exist in pre-war (and especially their own) detritus.
O.K. for Raiders (and their ilk) it makes sense to me that they'd languish about in filth as they're too whacked out on chems to be aware of, much less give a shite about, such things as cleanliness.
However seeing the same level of disregard at (for examples)
FO3: Megaton; Rivet City; The Citadel
FNV: Camp Golf; The Strip; Camp McCarran
FO4: Diamond City; Boston City Airport / The Prydwen; Bunker Hill
just makes no sense to me and all the more so in the Militaristic cases because there are always going to be those fkups amongst the troops who are on Punishment Detail whose job is to do the shite jobs no one else wants to do yet still needs to be done.
I am glad this is right up your ally then. I have done many locations so far in this series so keep your eyes pealed as I am no where near finished with this series.
