I'm quite impressed with this mod! However, there are some serious problems which I have found and it may have something to do with the commenter below me and it's to do with the Previs. I have completely scrapped Spectacle Island (breaking the Precombines in the process, naturally) and now have a spot around the middle of the Island that if I spin in a 360 circular motion I have things missing from the horizon and that includes buildings all around me that I just built. Its around the same area as the big cliffs that were implanted. I deleted them, but the LOD still remains. I rebuilt the LOD, believe it or not and it worked but I still have the problem of the space where the cliffs were blocking vision and I'm not sure why.
I have tried to use the Previsibines Repair Pack (using only PPF.esm) but of COURSE it won't work because it's only designed to fix the *original* layout which didn't include being flattened. My bad. :D
Now I'm confused as to what to do. Maybe you're not even the person I should be asking (PRP guy might be best for both of us to talk to!) but in any case you need to be notified because of the parts that have been left in the mod, and probably unintentionally. Anyhow, any insight you have would be great.
This mod gets a well deserved endorsement for the idea alone.
By the sounds of things you need to put the .esp file to the very bottom of your load order (even after any scrapping mods). You are seeing these ghosts because they are ghosts in a way. They are LOD images. LOD are the images of buildings etc that you see from a long distance. They won't have much detail until you get close enough to trigger the full image with all the details.
Example: A brick house might not be easily seen as a brick house from a mile away. But get up close and you can now see the bricks.
So the author may have had these images in play on another settlement they made and forgot to drop the LOD. I'm about to ask a question about this very problem. With any luck, we'll have some insight.
I managed to get mine to go by using the 'disable' command after clicking on each part. I'm not certain which command you were using? Apparently 'markfordelete' can break things too, so probably a safer option to disable.
Ok, after some test i can confirm some stuff whoever, today 2023 want to play with this mod: If you install this mod in a mid game, the settlemen bench will be floating in the air, the only solution that i find is to start a new game, for a strange reason this "fix the problem with the flying bench" in that new game only, if you dont want to start a new game you will have to do some commands tricks: 1.- after you active the electricity in the settlement, use tcl to walk in the air, this way you will can active the switch and the wrokbench from the settlemente, after this you dont need to use the bench again to open the settlement menu. 2.- if you dont like the flying workbench use commands again, open console, click the workbench and write disable, this will erased the work bench, dont worry, you still can use the settlement menu with the buttom tha you usually use. (you can do this with any object in the game that you dont like, but i suggest just using it with stuff that should not be flying.)
Definitely would not advise doing that to the workbench. A better move (which mightn't work if you tcl to it) is to enter the console and then click on the workbench, which will give you it's PRID which I have here in the example below:
161F4B.moveto player
This will move the workshop right next to you where you can now enter workshop mode and hopefully move it. If it comes out wonky and you can't get it to stand up straight (or if you're in a vanilla game and can't move it at all) then try putting a mat or rug on the ground and move the workshop to the mat or even a wooden shack floor instead, so

Hope that helps.
