Does anyone know how to modify how the armor spawns on BOS Soldiers? I use the mod Ad Victoriam and the Dark retexture mod, but the soldiers don't spawn with the Dark retexture, they spawn in white or grey and it's beyond annoying. It doesn't fit in with the Black and Red theme. It looks out of place in White or grey and I've been messing around with the creation kit with no luck.

After you download this mod and you already have the dark retexture, the game files for the armor texture will change. Just replace the b - 35 texture with the dark retexture mod again. It should work.

BoS spawned in with complete set of armor but institute version of the chestplate? How do I make it so the BoS only spawns in with BoS themed armour pieces???

I know this is a bit late but I just figured it out myself. Don't include this mod or the author's other one for the Cross outfit in your bash patch, instead place them after it. Had the same problems everyone else was having and now it works perfectly, along with a higher up weapon replacer patch actually included in the bashed patch.

Just a suggestion - the BOS overhaul ad victoriam adds a bunch of classes and weapons you could use to expand the selection of who gets what armor - like heavy troopers who could wear the b35c armor and brotherhood snipers and engineers who could wear the cross armor

Totally agree with that! It would be way more immersive if they were combination of heavy and less armored (let's say with sturdy combat armor, or even a BoS coat with just helmet and chest piece) type of brotherhood knights according to the purpose of their deployment on terrain.

Nice mod and really nice piece of art ! Abs painfully reminds me of fallout tactics but anyway you just made it with a clean a lore friendly work, much respect for that Mr. Whobbs1 ! :)

Hope its not to much to ask, but could you possibly explain how you did this? Id like to do the same but with a different outfit.

It probably has to do with injecting it into leveled lists via script.

I found a strange conflict with this. When downloaded alongside the mod FCOM I noticed that sometimes the armor would be present on the soldier, but invisible, or the soldier themselves invisible with the armor animated in their shape. It's probably something on my end, but thank you Whobbs1 for filling my Institute character's nightmares with phantom B-35C armor.

Good luck with your future endeavors!

Nice, how does it balance with BOS Recon? I had the original armor downloaded and it showed up occasionally on BOS but was sad to see when I installed BOS Recon that one pretty much took over the BOS spawn list and the B-35 was essentially phased out

The way it works is that BOS recon will only shop up on scribes so that's why you didnt see the b-35, but if you have this downloaded with it, the rest of the brotherhood will wear the b-35. If you have any other problems the load order should have the original mod above my mods.

Graci, yeah I assumed this goes below, just wondered how it worked in combination with the Recon mod. Nice now i can finally have both armors in game, and it also feels better to have less recon armors. They show up a way too much normally.
