About this mod

This adds two water purifiers to Horizon that do not require the Resource Manager.

What it does

It's pretty simple - this mod adds two water purifiers to the vanilla workshop menu that do not use the Resource Manager system.  It should deliver purified water in much the same way water purifiers work in vanilla FO4.  In order to keep them still within the balance bounds of Horizon they have been changed:
  • Personal Water Purifier: 1 purified water per day
  • Personal Large Water purifier: 2 purified water per day.  Requires Science 1

Both of them still require water filters to make and must be placed in water.  Since the water does not feed into the settler sustenance system in Horizon I made it so that these water purifiers should not increase settler happiness.  I'm not sure how to make them not add to the settlement's water needs numbers, so they will until I can change it.  The purified water should automatically be deposited in the settlement workshop just as in the vanilla game.  I'm not sure if Horizon settlers will still use it on occasion, so you may want to keep a close eye on it.  They should be under the resources tab just like a vanilla purifier.

NOTE:  These use the vanilla models, so make sure you check the names before build them.  I may re-purpose another model at some point, but it's not a priority..

Why?

It's pretty obvious that these essentially just eliminate the need to create a Resource Manager before you can start making some purified water.  The rate at which you make them is the same as in Horizon, but you can make them without the same level of settlement infrastructure.  So why bother?  I am currently making a Fallout 4 - Horizon lets play style series on YouTube, and while I wanted to use and show off a lot of Horizon as I go through, I also feel that some things just don't make compelling entertainment.  I still want the challenge in most other ways, but this makes it easier for me to get back to base, grab a couple waters, and get out to the commonwealth so I can keep getting slaughtered.

Installation:  It's just a small .esp, so install as you would any other mod.  Must come after Horizon.esp in your load order.

Conflict:  I can't imagine it will conflict with anything.  It is just an xEdit mod that I copied a few entries into and tweaked them.
