From the original mod page: Atomguard - The Fallout 4 Dawnguard Mod. Become a vampire or a vampire hunter and roam the wastes in a supernatural conflict. Factions, locations, fully voiced companion, random encounters, basic quests, magic, boss battles and of course vampirism.

2.2 is released, please remove any patch, bugfix or loose file before installing if you are using the ba2 version.

I hereby present Atomguard, Fallout 4's equivalent to Dawnguard DLC. The mod provides as close an experience to Bethesdan vampirism as possible. Full list of contents below.


  • Added the new random encounter system, it will provide what the fixed encounter tried to: leveled attacks from enemy hunters and vampires regardless of the player affiliation. The attacks will only work on the outside and are based on two "dice rolls" one for the player and one for the attaking NPCs if the player loses the roll it will trigger the attack, this is in an early stage and needs testing so please try to break it.

  • Removed every single map trigger from the previous encounter system so now the mod should be compatible
  • with sanctuary bridge mods (needs confirmation)

  • Boss fights are still fixed for now

  • Finished moving all the spells scripts into the control script, this
  • was the final stage of the magic system rewrite and now i'm able to
    implement the new spells

  • Fixed some obscure bugs in the spell functions that caused some explosions to cast on the player instead of
  • the target (mostly division and consume, but atomguard spells are still a little tricky)

  • Fixed timer scripts, timer IDs, and init functions.

  • Fixed functions: vampirefeeding, becomeatomancer, becomecardiomancer and addfeedings to comply with the new timers

  • Fixed a vampire perk bug that allowed the player to feed from any distance.

  • Test Xbox release.

1. Become a vampire or a vampire hunter by joining one of two vampire factions or the Atomguard. Each faction has it's own Base and NPCs.

2. Enjoy functional vampirism close to Bethesdan model. 4 stages of thirst;

  1.  Stage 1 - Well fed - buffs and sundamage
  2.  Stage 2 - Thirsty - neutral and sundamage
  3.  Stage 3 - Starving - debuffs and sundamage
  4.  Stagle 4 - Decomposition - constant steady damage until next feeding or death

One of the natural powers you gain is to feed of targets sleeping or awake as long as you sneak up on them and the target is human, gen3 synth or ghoul.  Additionally you may find an artefact known as Odious Chalice, which acts like a rechargable bloodpack that you can refill it when you feed on a target.

Conditions for Feeding  (backspace key):
- Target Human, sentient ghoul or gen 3 synth.
- Player must be sneaking.
- Player must be no more than 2 meters away from target.

3. Magic is big part of the mod. Both vampires and atomguard may use their respective schools of magic.

Vampire - Natural - School of vampire magic that is gained automatically upon turning.
Includes increased speed, invisibility and teleportation to vampire castle.
Vampire - Atomancy - School of radiation magic. Includes healing, shield and sundamage protection,  summoning wolfs, resurrecting the dead and calling upon a small nuclear mayhem.
Vampire - Cardiomancy - School of blood magic. Includes health draining bolts and area effect spells, combat and armour buff, fear effect for close by targets and an AoE blood drainign spell.
Atomguard - Holy - Vampire hunter school of spells, includes vampire damaging bolt, shield, healings, push back, and an AoE smite spell.

4. (not)Serana, this fully voiced mouthy anarchist companion can be found in the atomguard castle prison. Search for her cage key and free her. She provides benefits for vampire players, uses magic in combat and can feed you blood as a last resort. As an anarchist she doesn't work like a regular companion and doesn't follow exact orders, but has powerful spells, self-healing in combat and armouring spells,  has a unique way of dismissal and regular redressing item management feature.

5. Random encounters can be found anywere regardless of location or DLC.
Random encounters are leveled and will scale up with the player skill. Boss battles and grand-boss battles are level fixed and they are marked on the map to warn players since they may be beyond their skills. Fights are challenging and difficult, enemies deal considerable damage, but grand boss battles are meant to be even more challenging since each of those has his/her special powers and abilities.

6. New Items, 9 new weapons, several new consumables, chemistry recipes (vampire alchemy - lowest tab on the chemistry station), outfits. Paralysing stakes for vampire hunters and sun cream SPF 60 for resisting sun damage and Vampire Cure for the indecisive. Some outfits are specifically for females others are for males cause let's face it you'll most likely just throw'em out and keep those slutty 8k textured bunch of strings on your unnaturally boob-jobbed, bounce-physics modded, sexually objectified insults to femininity.

[left]1. Eyes may not properly scaledown on a character so it may be necessary to give a final touch in the looks menu.
2. It is possible that completion of Jade/Hector killing quests can be buggy (i'm really working on this but they are a clusterf*ck of conditions maybe i'll rewrite them from scratch). [/left]3. Some dialogues spoken by characters aren't represented exactly by the text... The bloody 150 sign per voice line limitation.

1. Will you develop this further? Yes i'm planning to do what the mod Better Vampires does to the skyrim Dawnguard DLC but with a different approach
2. Will this be on XBOX? There is an Xbox test release, dunno if it works to be honest, for some poeple it does for some it doesn't.
3. Will this be on PS4? Never Ever(tm), custom resources are a no go for sony.
4. Is there a cure for vampirism? Craft it, it only takes murdering Jade and Hector and using their blood in any chemistry station.
5. Can I have both atomancy and cardiomancy? Yes, talk to Jade for atomancy or Hector for cardiomancy and finish their quest to obtain it as a gift... Or kill them, loot their blood, drink it and gain it faster but without taking place in the future quests and adventures.
6. Can I become Blade? Like... Become a vampire but also a hunter. ... Yes if you have Jade's and/or hector's blood while beign a Atomguard, drinking the blood will not trigger the vampirism keyword but will grant you all the spells and abilities.
7. Some items are invisible or pink... something went wrong uring the instalation process OR the mod load order is affecting the mod resources.
8. Player is mute, why? I can't pay Courtenay Taylor and Brian T. Delaney for voice acting and editing the audio files is too much trouble for a free mod.
9. Yhar'gulcan turn to a bear form... So can you make a Werewolf mod?  I'm looking a lot into how to save player appearance for a kinda "vampire lord" transformation, and if i manage to pull that out i can transform the player in whatever i want (kinda working but some things get reseted to defaults so it's not implemented in any way yet)

1. Can you make cannibalism do blood feeding? No.
2. Can you make'em not take sundamage and remove the need to drink blood? No.
3. Can you make em sparkle in the sun?... Yes, but i won't
4. Why is Serana flat? She needs bigger tits! ... Working to fix that (maybe after 2.3 is released).
5. Why do character voices suck so much? Then record better and send them to me if you're so damn talented, if you actually can voice act better than this then where the where you when Galejro created the mod?
6. Why are the new NPCs in 2.0 silent? because i'm still searching for people to voice them and haven't found anyone to do it for free.

Almost all scripts in the mod (except some from 1.5 that just work), new locations (caves and interior cells) are my work, concepts and base locations (Castles) are Galejro's handiwork, some models and textures are work of others modders and everyone granted Galejro's access to those resources with explicit permission (at least that's what i know). Therefore it is best to contact him regarding what can be used.
