Version 1.8.2
- Added a new scenario to the Red Rocket station in Natick to implement RAD-Killer, irradiated bloodpacks and irradiated water more lore-friendly
- Added a small cabin right across the lake next to Sanctuary Hills as a new location for future iterations of both this mod and the upcoming Redux version
- New total of 40 modified and 174 added consumables
- The canning press now requires scrap steel for crafting new cans instead of automatically recycling items which contain steel as a component.
- Molerat Bacon now provides an additional 5 maximum AP for 10 minutes
-
Version 1.8.1
- Fixed the translation issues which translated some addictions and restriction texts to german
- Fixed the description of the radchicken nest
- New item (after getting a cute gif on discord, still laughing about it ^^): Squirrel In A Can. Put those little squirrel sticks to better use later in your playthrough.
-
Version 1.8.0
- - added: Vodka-Omelette. Fortifies strength and increases your HP for 4 minutes
- - added: Roentgen Rum. Improves your perception and marks living targets for 3 minutes
- - added: Gamma Gulp Beer. Adds 25 RAD resistance for 3 minutes
- - added: Minutemen MRE. Adds 45 HP, counts as both food and drink in survival mode
-
Version 1.7.9
- - Ramen time!!! You can buy new ramen in DC now, a total of 10 versions are available - one for each S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stat and three extra ones with some extra spice
- RAD removal from alcoholic beverages has been reworked. They now have been more streamlined, with all beers removing 30 RADs, wine and wine-like drinks removing 40, and hard liquors removing 50 RADs. Some drinks remove them faster then others (Gwinnett beers and normal beer require 6 seconds, most other beverages require 5), and Wasteland Tequila removes the most (75 RADs).
- new consumables: Banana Yucca Fruit and Prickly Pear Fruit. Both are light, heal a few HP, relatively cheap to buy, and both saturate hunger and quench thirst in survival mode
- other new consumables:
Potted Meat Pie +75 HP;12 RAD; 25 % Chance of an additional 25 RAD; Chance for Buffs (XP-Boost, Max AP) and Nerfs (-1 END) in any combination!
Tato Crisps 20 HP; weight 0,1; value 5; 3 Tatos + 1 Cooking Oil = 5 Portions
Mead -1 INT; +25 Max AP (4m); +25 max HP(4m); -35 RAD
Grilled Cram 20 HP; weight 0,1; 2 Cram + 1 Cooking Oil = 10 Portions
Pinyon Nuts 20 HP; weight 0,05; value 15; can only be bought
Rot Gut -2 INT; -2 PER; +2 STR; +10 melee damage
- Both raw and normal brahmin milk now remove RADs quicker (within 5 seconds)
- cider no longer quenches thirst
- - Ramen time!!! You can buy new ramen in DC now, a total of 10 versions are available - one for each S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stat and three extra ones with some extra spice
-
Version 1.7.6
- - 7 new items available. Six even are either loosely based upon consumables or directly ported over from New Vegas, while one is a nifty little creation of my own to make fish more useful.
- Ported items: MREs (lots of HP, VERY powerful in survival mode for curing hunger as they cost 100 caps each!), molerat wondermeat (twice the HP regeneration at double the healing rate, but not without some RADs), irradiated water (just like normal purified water, but with A LOT more RADs and it heals more if you have the Wasteland Survivalist 03 perk unlocked, and the HP is restored within 4 seconds instead of 10 in normal mode), blood sausage (can cure dark craving on survival mode), Scotch (well, it's ... scotch)
- Inspired items: Cheap Booze. Like Dixon's Whiskey, it just boosts charisma and lowers your intelligence by 2. To make it more useful, I also added a short bartering boost to the mix. It can be crafted with the distillery (just like the scotch btw) or bought from vendors for just 4 caps.
- New item: Fish soup. 75 HP, quenches thirst in survival mode, requires very basic ingredients and some raw fish from the basins in your settlements.
- Buff for the bloodpack: after a short discussion on discord I had the idea to improve the bloodpack as a healing item a little bit. Not only doues it heal at least twice as much as it did before, the healing effect and HP regeneration rate now depend on how badly you are injured. A single bloodpack now heals for 100 HP within 5 seconds when your HP percentage is 80 %, and it goes up to 180 HP within THREE seconds if your HP is below 20 %.
- - 7 new items available. Six even are either loosely based upon consumables or directly ported over from New Vegas, while one is a nifty little creation of my own to make fish more useful.
-
Version 1.7.5
- - 8 new items available. This is a new milestone, as it marks the (derivative) implementation of the last consumables from "Fallout: New Vegas" which could be somehow transfered in a logical manner.
- New liquor: Wasteland Tequila. Does not boost your special stats except for charisma, but provides ample resistance against both physical and energy damage. And of course, it also removes some RADs. ^^
- New defensive item: the Deathclaw Patches. Derived from the Datura hide from NV, this item boosts your damage reduction for a short period of time without any addiction risk. But be careful! It's neither very light, nor is it very cheap to craft.
- New consumable (and I mean really new): adrenaline shot. Fairly unremarkable stuff, just get 50 AP back immediately in normal mode and raise your adrenaline level by 5 in survival mode. Cannot be crafted though, you have to find it in old first aid kits and/or buy it from doctors or the named vendors.
- New "soup": Chili con Molerat. A fiery cousin of the old molerat stew, for a bit of extra punch in the next barfight.
- And finally, a few new chems to unwind: Turbo and Rebound. Yep, the classics are back, but with a little twist to make them work properly with Fallout 4's game dynamics (especially Turbo, which lasts twice as long now but the slowdown effect has been watered down significantly to keep it more balanced).
- - 8 new items available. This is a new milestone, as it marks the (derivative) implementation of the last consumables from "Fallout: New Vegas" which could be somehow transfered in a logical manner.
-
Version 1.7.4
- - The smelter can now recycle glass shards as well
- Improved the management script to reduce the chance for an unwanted formlist merge upon loading your savegame. Also added a recipe for a chem which allows you to "reset" the implementation of a certain batch of consumables in case the implementation didn't work as expected. WARNING! Use this new chem only if you actually have the issue above! Constantly resetting the batches WILL cause the system to bloat your savegame with countless formlist iterations and eventually make it unstable!
- Cider now removes 35 RADs instead of just 15 to improve its usage
- - The smelter can now recycle glass shards as well
-
Version 1.7.3
- - Added eight new consumables: Barrel cactus fruit and Nevada Agave fruit (can only be purchased and are comparably rare), Emergency drinking water (half as heavy as purified water, restores 20 HP and costs 10 caps), antiseptic paste (alternative to antibiotics), Rad-Killer (watered.down combo of Rad-X and RadAway), Wasteland Salad, Healing Poultice (basically an improved version of Healing Powder) and Energyzing Nectar (basically THE energy drink of the Commonwealth. Extremely hard to craft, the effects are worth it though).
- You can also craft Nuka-Cola using the same recipe as Fallout New Vegas did. Keep in mind though that the two main ingedients are very rare, as they provide you with pretty powerful HP boosts for their weight and value.
-
Version 1.7.2
- - Added a new craftable item: the carton kit. Used to turn office folders into an empty water carton which you can use and fill on any open water source (lakes, rivers) to get dirty water, even outside of survival mode.
- Added a unique workbench to the world: a glass smelter. Can be used to recycle glass items and craft wine and liquor bottles out of them.
- - Added a new craftable item: the carton kit. Used to turn office folders into an empty water carton which you can use and fill on any open water source (lakes, rivers) to get dirty water, even outside of survival mode.
-
Version 1.7.1
- - Due to the issue with the fish basin still being persistent so far, I changed the mesh to a new static one which also uses a more basic form in the mod file titself.
- Added a new "Wine" category to the brewery/distillery
- Cider can now be found in the new "Wine" category
- New recipes for wine and poisoned wine
- Poisoned wine now gives +2 STR (was 1) and the AP limit is increased by 25 (was 15)
- New food items: Wasteland Oyster and Red Herring. The former cures alcohol addictions, the latter cures chem addictions. You need to find the Red Herring in the gameworld to unlock the recipe, though.
- - Due to the issue with the fish basin still being persistent so far, I changed the mesh to a new static one which also uses a more basic form in the mod file titself.
-
Version 1.7.0
- IMPORTANT: There was an issue with the very first iteration of this version! If you downloaded this file within a few hours of the time of the initial upload (03 Nov 2018), please download it again!
- New Beverages: Cider (boosts your charisma at the cost of some intelligence, removes a minor amount of radiation) and Nuclear Fireball (boosts charisma and strength)
- Added: Bitter Drink: an old buddy from New Vegas, acts like a weaker version of a stimpak (without the RAD removal). However, it does not suffer from the drawbacks of a stimpak in survival mode. It's major drawback is that the most important ingredient cannot be crafted: you have to pick it up when you find the recipe, and it'll be placed again in your inventory when you consume a Bitter Drink. That will always limit the number of Bitter Drinks available to you.
- Added: Diamond City Hotdog and Diamond City Chili Bowl. Pretty useful (and expensive), however they are kinda unique (see spoilers below).
- Added: fruity pie. massively boosts your AP pool and regeneration for 30 minutes.
- Added: Iron Ration. The cheapest item you could possibly craft, restores some HP, and that's pretty much it.
- Added: Porridge. Yup, finally added that one as well. Basic food with basic ingredients, for a good start in the day. ^^
- IMPORTANT: There was an issue with the very first iteration of this version! If you downloaded this file within a few hours of the time of the initial upload (03 Nov 2018), please download it again!

Version 1.6.0
- - Implemented a new limit for the basic food items you get from the new resource stations to prevent a possible overflow. Each settlement now can only gather up to 20 fish, 20 radchicken eggs and 10 raw Brahmin milk.
- Changed the value of Fungus Casserole to 18 caps to reflect the value of its ingredients more appropriately
- New Tier 3 item: Fried Glowing Fungus (removes 20 RADs)
- New Tier 2 items: Glazed Mutfruit (restores 20 HP and 20 AP), and BBQ Bar (restores 150 HP and adds 30 AP)
- New Tier 1 item: Molerat Soup (restores 50 HP), Fishcake (restores 120 HP)
- New consumable category: cocktails. These alcoholic beverages are expensive to make and their effects last for only 1 minute, but those effects are exceptionally strong. Require a Cocktail Bar to be built in your settlement. 8 different cocktails are available.
- Both the Brewery and the Cocktail Bar require Science 1 instead of Local Leader to to be built, in order to compensate for both of them being too unique in the free game world.
- Vanilla item buff: Grilled Radroach now weighs only 0.1 lb and requires only 2 radroach meat instead of 3 in order to bring it more in line with the other vanilla game items.
- Vanilla item buff: Mutt Chops now heal 50 HP instead of 40 in order to make them more viable and useful later in the game Vanilla item buff: Iguana Soup now restores 190 HP instead of 95 HP, the base value has been increased to 42 caps (important on survival mode!)
- Vanilla item buff: Ribeye Steak now restores 125 HP instead of 110 HP in order to make it more viable when compared to the other high-HP-value consumables.
- - Implemented a new limit for the basic food items you get from the new resource stations to prevent a possible overflow. Each settlement now can only gather up to 20 fish, 20 radchicken eggs and 10 raw Brahmin milk.
-
Version 1.4.1
- - New drink (or should I say chem): Nuka-Spectre! This concealed chem improves your sneak capabilities and increases your action points for 15 minutes.
- Two new food items: Boston Meatbowl and Boston Meat Plate. The former improves rad resistance and your AP pool, while the recond adds your damage resistance, carry weight and endurance.
- - New drink (or should I say chem): Nuka-Spectre! This concealed chem improves your sneak capabilities and increases your action points for 15 minutes.
-
Version 1.4.0
- - Unlocking the recipes now grants a few XP as a little extra reward (nothing too serious, just a little appetizer to make acquiring the recipes more satidfying in general)
- Added a new dish for you to cook: Boston Bombdrop Mac and Cheese. Requires 1 Blamco Mac and Cheese and 1 dirty water. Very important for the survival mode players: it both saturates hunger and quenches thirst! The recipe is unlocked by default, and it can not be found on vendors (only crafted). This is intentional to make the search for Blamco more important in survival difficulty and deliberately limits the access to dual-purpose consumables a bit.
- Crafting radchicken omeletts now requires three radchicken eggs instead of one. This was done to reduce the amount of eggs accumulating in your settlements over time, the hens are really busy little bees sometimes. ;)
- Rushing water (not ice cold) now has a weight of 0.5 instead of 1.0 (as it only required 1 purified water to craft anyway, no need to stick too close to the original from New Vegas).
- - Unlocking the recipes now grants a few XP as a little extra reward (nothing too serious, just a little appetizer to make acquiring the recipes more satidfying in general)
-
Version 1.3.3
- - Changed the value of the medical brace from 35 to 15 - Added a new mesh for the Doctor's Bag
- Changed the mesh for the brewery/distillery and added a Teddybear as a crafting component (totally forgot that key requirement in the earlier versions. My bad ^^)
- - Changed the value of the medical brace from 35 to 15 - Added a new mesh for the Doctor's Bag
-
Version 1.3.2
- - Added item: the Poison Tourniquet provides 750 poison resistance for 30 seconds and removed all acid and poison DoTs
- Added item: Doctor's Bag: Slowly restores limbs and some health. While the effect is active, damage done to limbs is reduced by 50 percent. When used, an empty Doctor's Bag is put into your inventory. You need to refill it woth a new medical brace you can craft at asny chemistry station (refilling requires the chemistry station as well).
- - Added item: the Poison Tourniquet provides 750 poison resistance for 30 seconds and removed all acid and poison DoTs
-
Version 1.3.1
- - Fixed an issue with the water shader in the fish basin not showing up properly
- The milk collection barrel now requires you to unlock it by picking up a book in the Abernathy farm called "Blake Abernathy's Diary"
- Added a new workshop item: the radchicken nest. Provides radchicken eggs as a new consumable or crafting item. Will be unlocked with the new diary.
- Added two new consumables which are also unlocked with the diary: Carrot Kebab and Farmer's Breakfast.
- Added new recipes which are unlocked by default: grilled Corn, Boston Ice Tea (can be cooled down in a refrigerator), Radchicken Omelette
- Added a cookingstation outside the hut where the canning machine is located.
- - Fixed an issue with the water shader in the fish basin not showing up properly
-
Version 1.3.0
- - New healing item: The Iv Pack (provides damage resistance in normal mode and cures illnesses and prevents the player from getting them again in survival mode)
- This is getting fishy now: you can now breed fish in your settlements! The schematics for the basin needs to be found first (see below)
- Greetings from the Mojave! Added a huge amound of items from Fallout: New Vegas in this version! Have a Sunset Sarsaparilla in the evening, chew on some coyote tobacco or enjoy your Sierra Madre Martini at the end of the day (or whenever you feel like it).
- Most items now require a recipe which you need to find first. There's a total of 16 locations scattered all around the Commonwealth where you need to go. The list is at the bottom of this description. Happy hunting! :)
- - New healing item: The Iv Pack (provides damage resistance in normal mode and cures illnesses and prevents the player from getting them again in survival mode)
-
Version 1.2.0
- - Added the ability to "domesticate" some wild crops (corn, mutfruit and razorgrain) and use the wild counterparts to plant the standard crops in your settlement
-
Version 1.1.0
- - Changed the base value for both bread versions to 25 and the base value for mirelurk burger to 48 to make them more viable in survival mode.
- Mirelurk burgrs now heal 96 HP within 5 seconds.
- Added a second recipe for creating meat marinade using chalk instead of soap (still not that yummy, but heaps better than eating raw cockroach :-P).
- Added food items: Beefy beans, Boston sweet roll. Added drink: Wasteland coffee.
- All food/drink items now appear in the food vendors' leveled lists! Use them chem below in order to enable this feature (you can craft it at the chemistry workbench for free, it can be found under utilities).
- New chem: "Buff-Et: Merge". Use this to update your savegame in order to make the food items appear in the vendor lists! You'll know it worked if you get the notification "Milk quest finally started!"
- - Changed the base value for both bread versions to 25 and the base value for mirelurk burger to 48 to make them more viable in survival mode.
