I appreciate if you upload some images showing the dirt effects on male and female characters. Please note this mod is in the non-adult section! So, allthough I encourage you to upload your screenshots, please think before uploading.

For updating to a higher version please uninstall the old version and clean save before you install the new version. And delete your old MCM settings file (...DATA\MCM\Settings\GetDirty.ini).

I have a suggestion, get dirty and GET BLOODY, after being shot several times, blood, wounds and dirty effect appears, rather than only dirt!

Can you make it an option to only have blood splatters to wash off instead of dirt bc I rarely get blood splatters on me and I like blood.

    I hope someone takes over for this mod, because I really like using it. Unfortunately i'm encountering a few issues which have caused me to disable it;

Companions get dirty and stay dirty. I didn't even select the option to make them get dirty, the mod just did it itself. I use CWSS and tell my companions to use those items but they get dirty again as soon as they leave it.

I'm also getting radiation damaged even though i haven't selected the 'hard n dirty' option. It seems like the mod has just decided to put these options on for me without my doing so. Switching options, backing out and switching them again doesn't resolve it.

Anyway, disabling the mod until something is done about these issues.

I just installed the mod today, and I'm having the same issues. I'm able to get my character clean, but all companions stay dirty.

Okay, so I think I figured it out.

It's not playing well with CWSS for some reason. Ran the game without it, and companions no longer become dirty. Going to try it with Build your own pools and see if this fixes the problem.

Hey, a few months later and I‘m having the same problem. Were you able to fix it by switching to build your own pools?

This mod is conceptually neat but unfortunately it doesn't work very well as far as immersion and gameplay goes. Technically speaking, it delivers what it promises (for the most part), but having situations where you find a shower anywhere in the Commonwealth (especially in the Institute) but aren't able to use it just about kills this mod for me. I'm aware this isn't how the mod works so I'm not complaining about missing features, although I obviously wish it was there. I know about soaps, but even then that's not a perfect solution.
Another minor caveat is that if you use a slower timescale than the vanilla game, the mod seems to take a much longer time to tell your character to undress and start bathing, which sucks because often times you'll just do it in the nearest body of water and soak up all of those rads. This is obviously not much of an issue if you play with fast-travel enabled, where you can just go back to your cozy bathtub in Sanctuary or whatever and wash yourself there.

I agree. I'd love to replace all the toilets/showers/bathtubs in the game with CWSS ones so you could use them. I need to learn more about modding to pull it off though... particularly scripting and mod dependencies.

I'm sure there's a minor fix for the timescale problem that the developer could put in. I never play with fast-travel enabled, so I feel this pain as well.

I noticed one... I guess it would be a quirk since it likely isn't a bug. If you go swimming for some other reason, this mod will set off the bathing sequence and it will keep doing so since I suspect the timer to delay repeating it doesn't go active until you leave the water. Or when I tested it on two characters (I have CWSS installed as well) it seemed to work that way. So I guess if you're going to explore something underwater (that chest in the sunken rowboat in the lake near Sanctuary or similar) then you might want to wait until the bathing sequence completes and then jump out and back in and it should work normally after that.

Noticed it first when I did the "clean the water supply" at Diamond City. My character kept stripping and redressing continuously. So I finally went with one of my characters on a save where CWSS and this mod was not active and I tested it, though I got out of the water immediately after finishing with that one. When I went back to the character where I noticed the behavior and got out of the water after the bathing finished and it didn't repeat when the character got back in after that. I'll try the other character and try to get the repeated strip/redress behavior to confirm when I have a chance.

I'm using some body jewelry which occupies slot 58 (unsurprisingly this is "Body Jewelry (piercings) / Gun on back" per the standardized slots list), and I keep noticing at various points that it's come unequipped. Took a while, but I eventually worked out that it's getting unequipped with the rest of my gear when I take a bath by interacting with a bar of soap, but then not being reequipped after when everything else is automatically put back. I don't have CWSS installed, but I do have BYOP. A couple of questions:

    1. Is anybody experiencing this and are there known workarounds?

    2. Is there somewhere I'm not finding to control bathing undress/redress (whether or not to do it, maybe which slots are affected), either in the MCM or some undocumented config file?

After extracting the Main BA2 with BAE and digging around in its CS7_CleaningScript.pex with PexInspector I first started to suspect that this is the result of an off-by-one error in the GetPlayerRedressed() function. However switching the < comparison to <= caused it to never terminate after bathing so that clearly isn't it. For now I've worked around it by lowering the comparison on the loop in the GetPlayerUndressed() function to 27 so that index 28 (a.k.a. slot #58) stays on during bathing, in case anyone else has a similar issue and needs a fix (this may also solve the unequipped Pip-Boy problem some folks have been reporting?).

It might be possible to insert some conditionals within the loop to blacklist undressing other slots as well, though this is working well enough for me for now.

Finding that first piece of soap is a struggle sometimes before the rad timer kicks in. Places some urgency on it.
