2.0 is out with a few tweakable settings and MCM! Be sure to completely uninstall previous versions before updating; some things changed in the script and could mess up the mod if you do not uninstall previous versions first.

I would really love to combine your mod with "Death Penalty - An immersive Way to Die" by Ultimatecoffee:https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/24746 This mod features an alternative to vanillalike death. I think a combination would be absolutely awsome! Do you think it would be possible with or without XEdit? Any tip for the loadorder?

PS: How does your mod exactly work with stimpaks? Im asking bc i already changed some keywords of stimpaks so they heal like food - to prevent healing limbs... would that conflict with your mod? It does conflict with reanimation of followers (i had to give them the ability to autoheal).
i also would like a compatibility between those 2.
When finally dying would give us a penalty and move on with the game and accept the consequences for it. I have not installed that mod yet because im using this one and i think waking up in a nearby settlement would be better than going to a bed where we slept.

Thank you for the mod! It works as intended and it's much better than the other alternatives I have tried in the past. However, when sorting load order with LOOT, it throws this error:
This plugin contains records that have FormIDs outside the valid range for an ESL plugin. Using this plugin will cause irreversible damage to your game saves.
Is that something we should worry about? I have been using the mod for a while now and I have not had any issues, and ReSaver shows no problems either, but I thought it would still be a good idea to bring it to your attention. Thanks again!
THis mod can also be used as a fix for some problems. For instance, I had that weird bug where stimpacks would heal my radiation level which annoyed me. Following some advice i found on the internet, I downloaded that mod, then used the uninstall tool, used recycleactor and that problem disappeared.
ps: Funny, I just read the comment below mine, so i'll specify that i had that problem without this mod, and the installed it to use it as a fix before uninstalling it.
The most compatible alternative to death mod thus used. Getup time is quick. No bugs encountered in the process. Properly balanced as advertised so as not to remove satisfaction from gameplay. Combat will end upon being downed, often resulting in enemies walking with their backs to you.
