Til the fo4 Script Extender isn´t updated for the new fo4 version, fo4 SE and all mods which are based on will not work. Better to make a save of the current fo4 exe, to play also after the update with mods which are based on the script extender, til he is also updated.
Found True Perks has LevelUpMenu.swf in its files.
When installing True Perks it's the only conflict with this mod. Reinstalled LevelUpMenuEx and overwrote True Perks's LevelUpMenu.swf. Problem fixed. There is no longer / no more crashes when accessing the level up feature on my modded fallout 4.
For those who are having CTD issues when opening the level up menu, even if loose files are enabled:
I was another one who could not make this mod work, after disabling BakaInterface from my current save and installing this one. One of the comments says to check if LevelUpMenu.swf file is placed at \data\interface (usually, default Steam mod folder is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4). I checked and it was there, but of a different size, around 4mb (probably it's the default level up menu).
My friends, check the size of your LevelUpMenu.swf! It should be around 58kb for this mod (version 1.10). All other files were ok, somehow Vortex didn't replace this specific file. Just rename the previous file with .bkp extension (in my case, the filename was all in small caps, but it doesn't matter) and copy LevelUpMenu.swf from this mod, either from vortex staging folder or from manually downloaded mod.
After that, I reloaded my save and it worked. My setup has 430 mods, including Be Exceptional, which uses this mod as foundation, and VAFS, which does modifications to perks.
I want to give you a hug dude I went to Data/interface and bam i found it at 4mb as well and just Manuel downloaded the mod nabbed it out of the interface file from the mod and slapped it in, replaced it, and it completely fixed it. took me 2 minutes and fixed an issue ive had for like 3 hours
I have F4SE installed and have the loose files loaded and archive invalidated.
But I get a glitched levelup screen that is stuck and won't even work. It doesn't CTD, it just stays there until I close it by moving my mouse to the close option.
I am using MO2, F4SE 0.6.23 rel 25 and game version 1.10.163.
I used it with Be Exceptional at first but even after I uninstalled Be Exeptional properly, and ran the game with just LevelUpMenuEx, the level up screen is still glitched.
Hello Again! I found this thread in the MO2 issues section, and I am having the EXACT same problem. I didn't even notice that it wasn't just LevelUpMenuEx, but every NVSE mods were not working properly.
For anyone who finds this later, I was having the same issue. As it turns out it was because im playing on the GOG version and F4SE doesnt load all scripts properly on the GOG version yet (even though the silverlock page says it does).
HOWEVER, if you add -forcesteamloader to the launch arguments for F4SE in MO2, then it should make the scripts work properly.
This fixed things for me, hopefully it does for some other people as well.
How does this mod work with Fallout 4's unlimited level cap ? Will the mod set a max level or will players not be limited to a level cap and end up OP?
It doesn't affect level cap, it's just a menu that displays the Perks in an alternate way. It also allows modders like me to add new Perks and a Skills system, because it isn't tied down to vanilla Fallout 4's static Perks Menu, which can't be altered.
How do I display skillpoints available and how do I view perks I've already purchased. I can see perks that I am eligible and ineligible for, but once I've purchased, they disappear an cannot see them anymore on the window.

In my case it was caused by the LevelUpMenu from this mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/56363
Worked for me, too! TY.

No, I don't use any upscale mods.
Thanks again for helping me out!
