Works great! Aiming to soo much better now! Teeny nitpick though, the new brighter reticle is far enough away that it can be seen outside the reflex sight.
This is so sweet! I'm fixing some mods for my self so I can aim with them in VR, everything works great so far except one tiny detail. When I view the weapon at the workbench the center of the weapon is moved to in between the reticle (which is far away from the sight) and the gun. Any idea how do fix this? I see your mod doesn't do this to the vanilla weapons.
This is hands down the most useful mod for the VR version of the game. Sight resolution is terrible in the VR version and the developers can't be bothered to fix it. This mod saved the game for me and made it actually playable. I can actually tell where I'm aiming at and hit it with these improved sights.
I'm wondering if it's possible to put these reflex sights on guns added in via mods. Some modded guns have the default reflex sight available, others do not. A lot of the WWII weapons that can be added in via mods don't have reflex sights available. The resolution is so bad on the iron and glow sights in VR that it's pretty hard to hit anything unless a scope is used. Is it possible to add the reflex sight with your improvement on it to the modded weapons? As of now I'm using the LC-1 Laser Carbine a lot, since this modded weapon uses the reflex sight that this mod touches. I'd like to use the M1 Garand and Lee Enfiled rifles more but they don't have the reflex sight available. Is there some way for you or someone else to add your perfected reflex sights to the other weapons in the game?
The quality on the reflex sights when using this mod is top notch. If you only use on mod on the VR version, use this one.
This is oddly enough not working for me, any known potential problems or conflicts? Installed with NMM and the files appear in the Falloutvr file. My mod list is pretty light, Unlimited folllower framework shellrain darkernights survival quicksave. The only thing i can think of that would be affecting it is that i have adjusted how easily the sniper scopes activate. Or maybe it only applies to certain reflex sights? as i am using a standard 10mm pistol with a regular reflex sight but i have not tried the circle reflex sight yet?
This mod saved reflex sights for me. I have (chronic) shaky hands/arms that makes keeping a steady aim damn near impossible, so I have to use a special 3D-printed rifle stock mount for the Vive wands for stability. I can barely see the original vanilla sights with the wand better than 2 feet out from my body. Problem solved. Thank you, and very nicely done!
