I am going to be taking a break from modding...for a while anyways. It has been fun, but has consumed a lot of my free time..hundreds of hours over the past 9 months... I have no regrets, but I am going to spend all of my free moving forward actually gaming.
Any of my patches/mods can be tweaked/reloaded with no permission required, you don't even need to credit me, its all good I don't care!
Regarding X-92 Powersuit in cooperation with Horizon 1.8
Falldamage Immunity no longer working. worked with Horizon 1.7 found a solution, editing this patch here with X-Edit, under "Object Effects" the agility effect, which includes the Falldamage Immunity.
found a solution by modifying the Horizon Patch, so the effect doesnt get overwritten with "no effect". Explanation: the horizon patch replaced the +3agil with Falldamage immunity. this was in this original mod here Effect #1 (Agil+3 was Effect #0 ) i replaced this in the horizon patch first with same, agil+3 as Effect #0 and FD-Immunity as Effect #1 .... but in Horizon 1.8 this f-d up the agility values, they were now negative, so i used just another effect, i took +50 health. now this is Effect #0 and FD-Immunity is Effect #1 and it workes now, i can jumpf from a superhighway and dont die anymore, as intented. just wanted to let you know, i post this also in the armor patch collection for horizon, whose Patch i modified.
in short, dont have a screenshot, here its what it was before:
X-92 ESP?????Patch ESP Effect0?+3Agil???+50 Health Effect1?FalldmgImmunity?FalldmgImmunity
now its working, i jumped from a superhighway and survived, before i died in this powersuit.
When i disabled the patch at all it worked ok too, so it had to be something in this patch here. hope this helps stragglers, as i think this is one of the nicest looking armors at all of all times here for Fallout4.
Man, it's a shame this isn't going to be updated anymore. It's essential for a heavily modded horizon game, for me at least. I'd have loved to see the original tschutchi's wardrobe patched someday too. (In its vanilla form it requires armorsmith extended.)
Regarding Sirius 16 and propably 12 armor in combination with horizon, i have Str10 (VANS helped me with that), no metalworking, just a plain katana grabbed from a dead gunner, and with the Sirius16 Exoskel the damage goes up to 6k something (yes, 6thousand) in pipboy. if i remove it, its about ...30 or 40, dont remember. basically, i blitz-2´d to a radiated behemoth and oneshotted it .....
hell, this is a walking nuke, ok you have to be careful with multiple enemies with auto weapons, would never "warp" into a bunch of gunners i´d be dead within 2sec, but the peak damage you can do here is totally .... lets say crazy, to not be overwhelmed.
maybe tone it down a bit?
other stuff works awesome even with horizon, nicely integrated into techworkbench for crafting.
Thanks alot for the conversions and the compatibility with the awesome horizon mod.
Any way to update Prostitute Outfit and Updated Archerdowns Mercenary Pack patches to not require AE, especially the latter as it requires Horizon AE patch that is no longer supported. I know Merc patch is on the other mod page, but I think it's better to write comment about both patches here.
In case of Prostitute Outfit - fine, although having to install another master that is not necessary for anything else is kinda annoying, but Merc Pack requires Horizon patch for AE that is no longer avaiable with current versions of Horizon, so you have to install previous ones to get necessary esp.
Its funny you ask that because i was just looking into it last weekend.
I am going to add scrap recipes to a bunch, mainly the ones in my level list patch...the problem is that any constructable armor cant be given scrap.....which is ok if you can only craft it, but once added to level lists its obviously a little immersion breaking... but i figured out a workaround... im going to make a duplicate item that you can craft and the level list item will be scrappable. I think it should work out ok, it will just take some time for me to hit up the dozen patches.
Sounds great! I hate running low on cloth and not being able to scrap a bunch of clothes I pick up.
Another question I have regarding a few of your patches. It's subjective but should there be crafting requirements for armors such as Black Widow and BoS Recon?
Was wondering if I could request one more armor? Was wondering if you could convert Cammy’s Street Fighter outfit? I want to use it with Atomic Beauty conversion sliders but it’s a bit OP for horizon.
Alright done! I'll just copy and paste the patch description here...
-Craftable in the tech lab under Cammy Tactical Suit and is connected to the Armory Activator.
-This patch is compatible with the Atomic Beauty Conversion.
-The suit comes with a backpack and a utility belt so I gave it double backpack upgrades, but it also occupies both backpack slots. Crafting costs reflect this.
Any chance you could patch some of the other Metal Gear Solid V armor mods? Octocamo Armor - https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/29731 Haven Trooper Frogs Armor - https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/27297
Yeah I will have the time to do the octocamo armor for sure, I already downloaded it and was probably going to do it soon anyways. I had already downloaded the Frog Armor too, but man...that mod is massive, just as big as XOF armor pack and that adds tons of crap. I'd like to do it at some point, but Im not sure if I will have the time to do it this week or not!
I just noticed the author of all those mods just got banned. That sucks, I really liked their stuff....
Ok Octocamo Armor is done! I'll just post the patch description here:
-Craft in the Tech Lab under Octocamo Armor and is connected to the Armory Activator.
-There are two versions of the suit: One has stealth capabilities but cannot be worn with armor parts. I made a new version that does not have stealth capabilities but can be worn with armor parts.
-I changed it so the stealth Octocamo Armor has stealth capabilities by default.
-The Gear items now occupy the upper and lower backpack slots but receive backpack upgrades. Crafting costs reflect this.
