---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------How to optimize your game and create a Merge Patch or Bash Patch for all my patches and your mods!
You are going to need the following programs.
Nexus Mod Manager or Mod Organizer
F4SE
ENB <-- Ignore this program if you have a SLI or Crossfire build.
FO4Edit
LOOT
Wyre Bash
Steps.
1. Download the programs listed above
2. Download the appropriate mods and my patches
3. Make sure that all my patches are near the bottom of your load order before doing a Merge patch or Bash Patch.
4. Uncheck or remove all my patches that are not required after your bash patch is created. For optimal game-play you might wish to use F04EDIT to take care of any last minute changes that Wyre Bash missed before removing the patches, but not required. If you are using a merge patch don't uncheck any of my patches.
4. Enjoy the game.
Mods I recommend with any build.
Mod Configuration Menu
DefUi
BodySlide
Achievements
iHud
Vivid Fallout
Full Dialogue Interface
Fallout 4 Configuration Tool
FO4 Texture Optimization Project
Updated Icons for Def_Ui
GraFix Texture Overhaul
Better Wait Menu
Modern Scopes
FO4 Hotkeys
Pinups of the Wasteland
Better Male Model
FPS Dynamic Shadows
Better Pinups
FO4 Enhanced Color Correction
Essential mod I recommend if you are using Mod Organizer
Mod Organizer Categories Fix
The easiest way to make a merge patch is by using FO4Edit by ElmisterAU. The manual can be found here and or, you can watch a great introductory video here. You can watch a tutorial video on how to make Bash Patches, using Wrye Bash with Mod Organizer here. If you are having trouble with Mod Organizer, I recommend you check out this page. If you wish to merge plugins to reduce your load order, get the program you need here.
