Hmm, but you removed the very science-techy bits that make it look & act like a science-tech adapted gun, and yet still want it to behave like one? It doesn't make any sense at all to do that. Surely a talented modder like you could make a sexier-looking science-techy gun instead of just another regular looking one?
It would be a better solution, when the "electronic radiation attachments" would have been replaced by a nicer attachment e.g. something like the Tactical Attachment in Crysis or another silencer shaped attachment. Just to follow the tec-poopoo game rules. Do not think about the real world reference of this game. The stupid "Legendary-System" alone breaks the Fallout world and makes it to a magic techno-Skyrim, but I like FO4 the same. :-)
Belated @JJerem - of course "don't like, don't use" -my point's merely if you remove the sciencey bits it looks just like any gun, yet you still want it to act magic? And yes FDenton, better looking attachments are the way! For indeed, again @JJerem, that's merely what I was hoping to inspire with my original comment. JJerem seems to have confused my constructive critique as just trolling criticism.

I love the weapon perfect also what is the name of the goggles you were using in the photos I was wondering because it would look good with my nomad look i know how to get the hood.
fun fact this gun is based off and well looks 100% like the german volkssturmgewehr which was made for use by the end of world war 2 and the guns design was actually made to be semi-automatic(single shot fire) only so if you wish to go for realistic keep it semi, plus besides semi does more damage too
