This mod does precisely what ETB wanted to do, but way better. Much love and respect for that author. I will leave this mod page up in case for some strange reason, you would prefer to use this.

**MAJOR PLOT SPOILERS BELOW**

BEFORE YOU INSTALL:
This mod is intended for players starting a new playthrough, especially if you are using Start Me Up. However, it will work if you have NOT yet completed the ArcJet quest (Call to Arms) with Paladin Danse AND if you have NOT yet completed the "Reunions" quest (the one where you track down Kellogg to Fort Hagen).

DO NOT INSTALL THIS MOD IF YOU HAVE ALREADY COMPLETED THE ARCJET QUEST AND/OR THE REUNIONS QUEST!

IF YOU INTEND TO GO TO THE PRYDWEN BE SURE TO COMPLETE "REUNIONS" BEFORE FLYING TO IT, FAILURE TO DO SO WILL CAUSE SERIOUS ISSUES THAT I CANNOT FIX, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

New In Version 1.5:
I should mention first that this update is NOT safe to install on a game where you have already completed "Call To Arms". If you really want to install the update on a game where you have already done the quest, send me a PM, there is a path using console commands to ensure that everything is set up correctly.

Added condition checks to the NPC's around Goodneighbor and Diamond City! Now, they will only comment on the Prydwen's arrival after you have completed "Call To Arms" AND the Prydwen has flown in. They will no longer comment on the airship after completing "Reunions" without completing "Call to Arms" which caused an issue where they would comment on seeing the airship even though it had not yet flown in. Uninstall the old version and install this one! (Mini rant: Bethesda conditioned the NPC dialogue to run off of the Reunions quest, even though there is a custom quest specifically for the Prydwen's entrance. Come on, why not just use that quest? I had assumed, incorrectly I realize now, that that is what they did. Which caused this issue that I had to come back to fix...like, it was right there, they could have very easily just switched the condition statement so that it actually made sense...smh)

The Video:

The Reason:
The way Bethesda coded the game means that the only way to get the Prydwen to arrive in the Commonwealth is by going to Fort Hagen and killing Kellogg and then exiting through the correct door. Which means, that if you went and killed Kellogg first, the Brotherhood would arrive regardless of whether or not you had helped Danse at the police station. This leaves a major plot hole, the whole reason for the Brotherhood arriving in the Commonwealth was because of Danse's reports of Institute activity, so how did they know to come if you hadn't helped Danse get the Deep Range Transmitter? Similarly, after the Prydwen had arrived, if you went and talked to Danse at the police station, he would still ask for your help getting the transmitter, but why does he need it if the BoS is already in the Commonwealth?? Lastly, and most importantly if you want the Brotherhood in the Commonwealth but don't want to do the Main Story, you would be out of luck, because you would have had to rescue Nick Valentine, track down Kellogg, and kill him and ruin your immersion in your non-sole survivor role. This mod fixes all of that.

The Result:
After you assist Paladin Danse with acquiring the Deep Range Transmitter, regardless of any action you take afterwards, the Prydwen will arrive in the Commonwealth. The only way, for the Prydwen to arrive in the Commonwealth now is by helping Danse get the transmitter so he can contact them. If you go to Fort Hagen, kill Kellogg, and exit through the roof door, nothing will happen. There is a known issue here, if you do the Arcjet Quest and the Prydwen arrives, and you go to the Prydwen without having completed the Reunions quest (where you kill Kellogg), Captain Kells and Elder Maxon will not appear. Unfortunately, this is not an issue I can fix, Bethesda coded the game so that in order to do the BoS questline you must have completed the main quest up to the point where you kill Kellogg. The workaround for this is that after you have done the ArcJet quest and the Prydwen has arrived, go do the main quest up to the point where you kill kellogg, you can rationalize it as mercenary work for your character. After killing him, Maxon and Kells will be at the Prydwen and you can complete the BoS line as normal. I'm sorry that there isn't a better solution, but if I did anymore to try to fix it, it would only break your game more.

The Details:

Travel Time Spoiler:

Spoiler:
Show
Immediately upon the start of the conversation with Danse, after exiting Arcjet, a timer is set for 168 in game hours, or 1 in game week. The Prydwen will make its entrance when that timer expires.

HOW IT'S DONE:
This mod edits two existing things, it removes the code from the Fort Hagen Exterior terminal that triggers the Prydwen's arrival. It takes the code that triggered the Prydwen's entrance and moves it to run after the completion of "Call To Arms" which executes regardless of whether or not you decide to join the Brotherhood.

COMPATIBILITY:
IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH ANYTHING THAT EDITS THESE TWO THINGS:
MQ106_FortHagenExtTerminal (the roof terminal at Fort Hagen)
BoS101 ("Call to Arms", the Arcjet quest with Danse)

It should be compatible with anything else, especially compatible with Start Me Up.
