    when the g.e.c.k comes out you should make an animation for smoking it like that cigarettes mod in the fallout 3 nexus

    I understand, but that would be precisely one of the points why you should not use it. Weed cigars are really different than cigarettes. The Asbestos would most likely be one of the carcinogenic compounds of the cigarette, weed cigars don't have that. It's only paper and weed. Unless you bong or vape it, of course. But when it comes to joints, it's only that.

    I left a message for SIC_PHUKER of the CiggaWeed-Retexture mod about possibly getting together with you to use his Joint skin with your joint Aid item. If you guys don't turn every cigarette to a joint but actually just use your joint item with that skin (for immersive reasons I actually stated on the message I left at his mod) and just find a way to activate the smoking animation some characters use after activating the item (again, which would also prevent from smoking mid fight, as you'd stand as a bloke taking shots to take a hit, pun intended) you'll have a perfectly immersive joint mod  

    Edit: almost forgot. Don't forget to rename and retexture the Hubflower to Marijuana for a finishing touch =p or Radijuana, if you will xD Radiation mutated marijuana for the wandering mind of your inner Wanderer lol xD

      You do know that this just uses the regular cigarette mesh? I am pretty sure that if you use only that mod it will change the blunt from this mod as well..

      Yeah, I know and was thinking of using it just as it is. My suggestion was just that with both of you working together maybe this would evolve to a pinnacle version without really removing the cigarettes from inside the game. Kind of a super immersive version =] I like the diversity of seeing some people around smoking a cigarettes while I prefer to enjoy my little joint and chillax while blowing super mutant minds
      I mean, It'd be awesome to harvest my own weed(Hubflower :v), roll it up(chemistry station ), light it up(see the character doing the animation) and enjoy the effect(Slooooow time) As I got the NX Pro Farming mod from Nephatrine, which let's me plant my own Hubflower, with the rename and retexture I think that'd even let me have my own plantation \o/ besides finding the wild ones =p
      But I really don't want Nick Valentine and Desdemona smoking a blunt. For some reason I really don't think it matches their character well =/ I mean, if I could, I'd make Nick smoke cuban cigars and Desdemona keep on enjoying her cigarettes. Nick looks like a cigar kind of guy to me.

      On a side note, as I talked about cigar, if you do end up working with SIC_PHUKER, see if he can make a blunt joint texture with the cigar for the "Huge sized Joint" (and maybe rename it to Blunt for a better fit =p)

      Anyways, these are just suggestions. I hope you like it and end up doing it, as I think it'd be awesome AND fun but the only one who can decide to do so is you. ^^

      Anyways, as you removed the Asbestos, which really was the only problem I had with the mod, I've already endorsed you and wish the best of luck now and in your future endeavors.

      That's ok ^^ I'm already pretty happy with what you did so far and understand that there is a LOT of work involved in creating and refining a mod, which you might not have that much time during the day to day routine or maybe just doesn't want to, which is entitled to you as well if its the case. I just hope you might consider it and maybe try in the future, but I won't consider any less of you even if you don't ^^

      Hello, pot smoker here...and i use some baccy in my joints just like most of the people i have met across multiple european countries.

      PS. I would suggest using the cigar texture for "blunts"

    The reason the joints are addictive is because in my mind I mixed them with Tabaco, as far as I know Tabaco is addictive, or am I wrong in that aspect?

    yea, you didnt list what the buff even does., also this is highly non immersive, weed isnt addictive lol, if anything it should give you a "hungry" debuff. which you then need to consume food items to make go away. but atleast describe what kind of buff you give the "joints" in your mod.

      Corrected it, it states what it does now. But I have no idea why you would come to a joint mod page if you want immersiveness in the first place. This mod isn't meant to be immersive.

      It should. I'd actually really like an immersive joint, believe it or not.
      I agree with the "Munchies" debuff, where you just HAVE to eat something to make it go away but VERY little addctiveness. it actually is a bit addictive but it's REEEEEALLY hard and rare, like, 1% for the small, 2% for the medium and 3% for the large one. Most people think it's impossible to get addicted to weed but it actually is, it's just also a really easy to overcome and has so little withdrawal that there's barely any at all.

      Yeah, there's honestly so little a chance of getting addicted to weed, and such minor withdrawal symptoms if you somehow do, that it's laughable to think that anyone might actually develop a serious dependency on the stuff.

    The addiction rate has to be set to 0, instead it should decrease endurance as well as slow time(Munchies). That is, until a hardcore mod is possible. For such powerful effects, there should be more resources needed for crafting, or less of a high. You do that, and add the famous "Smoke Weed Everyday" Soundclip everytime you take a joint, and it's easily the best mod on nexus right now.

      why addiction zero? are you saying that you cant get addicted to marijuana, because lots of people get addicted to "non" addictive things

      Lots of people are also glue smelling, weak minded "People". Mary Jane isn't a drug, and the addiction rate is very small, almost nonexistant. If you get addicted to mary jane, you will most likely get addicted to anything.

      What godrapist13 said, basically. Marijuana is a rather simple herb, and the chance of actually developing a legitimate dependency on it is slim-to-none. Addiction in Fallout is true addiction, as in can't go without it or you start having problems with your body. Marijuana has been proven to not do that to people, so it shouldn't have a chance of addiction at all.
