Horizon 1.5 Update:

-I have made a new crafting menu in the Tech Lab so you don't need to craft the Cross Cybernetics workbench if you don't want to. I have connected this mod to my armory activator to hide the crafting menu. The armory activator can be crafted in the equipment section of the Tech Lab. You can download the activator from this page if you don't already have it.

-I have updated the Cross Uni BoS Uniform and connected it to the Armory Activator.

V3.1
Fixed a wrong reference to the titanium alloy component.

V2.1
The torso armor no longer occupies a backpack slot. The Cross Belt is now considered a double backpack and gets two backpack upgrades at the armor workbench. I increased the weight of the torso, legs and arms to compensate. This is less confusing than my changes in 2.0 and just works better!

V2.0:
I've finally begun my second pass at this patch. I really want to make this suit something you have to work at upgrading for a long time.
I've added in every upgrade that I needed to take out when I first patched this mod, but changed some completely.

A lot more upgrades will cost alloys and the suit will remain heavy and bulky because it needs to have some negatives as to why not to use it.

-The legs armor piece now gives you a carry weight bonus like it should have.

-The torso armor piece now occupies a backpack slot. (Its bulky and the leg upgrade now gives a bonus so I don't want to give too much carry weight...I had to make it take up the lower backpack slot because the cross belt upgrade must use the upper backpack slot...)

-The Cross Belt must take up the upper backslot so it now gets a backpack upgrade. (I would have like to have given it the lower backpack slot...but it wont work)

-Reactivated all the special upgrades, but I replaced the Charisma upgrade with an Action Point upgrade. (These are upgradable with the torso, left arm, right arm and leg armor parts)

-Reactivated the Rad Regen upgrade but replaced it with an increase to Action Point regeneration. Theres really no way to make regenerating rads work in Horizon.

-Reactivated the Health Regen upgrade. Instead of simply giving +20 health per minute, it now gives +20 health per minute when you are below 15% health.

-Reactivated the Auto Stim upgrade. It now works with combat stimpacks.

-Reactivated the +10% to stimpack healing upgrade but replaced it with a +25 bonus to Action Points.

-I tweaked some of the other upgrades that I felt were underpowered or overpowered and changed a few of the magazine requirements.

I'm going to keep working at this patch, but I think its at a much better place than it was before so I figured Id upload it!

***I’ve made a few more Cross patches. They are on my “Horizon Armor Patch Central” page. Archerdown has made a lot of great Cross patches too. You can find the links to Archerdown’s profile below and my armor patch page! Check them out!!! I recommend the Tech Mask, its is my personal favourite, it comes with a built in flashlight!

T
his is a patch to balance Cross Pre-War Cybernetics and Horizon. Balancing new armor in Horizon is difficult, but things should be ok.

I took out any upgrades that regen health or cure rads and I took out two that affected stimpacks as well. I also removed the s.p.e.c.i.a.l. upgrades.

I didnt change any of the effects of the other gagets...but i dont imagine anything is too powerful....I locked all frame upgrades out with magazine perks. This is so each player has access to them all, and they are all unlocked later in the game.

I overhauled the frame pieces to be similar to medium metal armor. They are weaker and heavier, so metal armor gives better protection AND is lighter...But—the suit has all the cool upgrades to unlock! Keeping balance in horizons armor system is tough, but i really am trying to make sure this armor is not the absolute best choice once you aquire it...

I also got rid of the dynamic naming system, so each piece will simply be called “cross torso” or “cross chest” no matter the upgrades you apply. I found this cleaner and i guess is just a personal preference, but i think things display very nicely.

If any of the added effects dont work with horizon let me know and i will disable them. Or if anything is too powerful or too weak i will tweak things as well, if i can.

I have included a patch for Uni BoS Uniform as a bomus! Download it too, it goes great with Pre-War Cybernetics!!! (Not actually required)
