The quest Open Season in the Nuka-World DLC is intended as a "good" ending to the otherwise more "evil"-oriented raider content in the DLC, but it any kind of reward, in comparison to the many perks and rewards offered by the "eviler" path. Nothing much happens after either, even if Nuka-World is technically freed from raiders. In the forums, I posted a wish for mods that could enhance the good path of the Nuka-World DLC. After a while, I created this mod as a starting point.
Version 1.0 doesn't do much beside adding a new perk, "Liberator of Nuka-World", and adding the code needed for giving the perk as a reward for the player upon completing Open Season. I don't know if the perk is balanced in gameplay terms, or even if it fully functions as intended; feedback will tell me that. The perk gives a permanent +50% damage against human enemies and reduces the damages from human enemies by 15%; essentially, a combination of the Assassin legendary weapon effect and legendary armor effect. It is meant to reflect that the player had to fight through the multitude of raiders at Nuka-World during the quest; a larger experience with dealing with human opponents.
I am limited in my coding when it comes to Fallout 4 mods; I hope others might come up with ideas to make the good path a little more alluring in Nuka-World.
Because of the way I work with script files, this mod automatically contains the code for my "Loyal Porter Gage" mod that makes Gage non-hostile during Open Season, since both modifies the behavior of the Open Season quest. It would take extra work to separate them, and they would be incompatible if I did. If both mods are in the mod list, Open Season Enhanced will not work unless it is loaded after Loyal Porter Gage.
