    IMPORTANT NOTE - Since I didn't use the same folder names as the original be sure to check the name of your music folders:

    When installing NEW music be sure you use these directory names (these ARE DIFFERENT than the vanilla radio station folder names).

    \ExtraTracks\Classic\ is correct ...DO NOT USE---> \ExtraTracks\Classical\ nor \ExtraTracks\Institute\
    \ExtraTracks\Diamond\ is correct ...DO NOT USE---> \ExtraTracks\DiamondCity\
    \ExtraTracks\Freedom\ is correct ...DO NOT USE---> \ExtraTracks\MinuteMen\

    Thanks!

      Question: Excuse my impatience, but how long do you estimate it will take to get the other radio stations editable?

      Ahhh yeah the other "stations" are all a little differently constructed then the main three. The settlement radio broadcasts would technically work but they are setup to only play 1 song before going back to the announcer.

      Silver Shroud for example is really weird in that the sequences don't seem to be just music tracks, but they are actually set up like it really would have been done for classic radio with individual lines by each actor and individual sound effects. Kudos for Bethesda for doing it like that.

      I'll look at the others in more depth to see what can be altered without messing around with the quests.

    Here's a cool easy to use renaming utility by Xiigen that renames all the files in a directory and outputs a txt file of what each renamed file is (so you can keep track of what each song originally was):

      EDIT: The proper download is now up! Only took a month for me to realize it wasn't hosted properly.

      Go over to the releases tab to download the executable, or go to this address and download the .exe

      Thank you so much sir, that did the trick. I renamed them myself the first time (was very tedious) then I realized a couple of files were not what I wanted but I had no way of telling which ones they were. This will help tremendously! You are a gentlemen and a scholar, thanks again.

    Edit: Nvm just read the line that specifically talked about this, somehow didnt see it XD

    I didn't see install instructions. Is this mod manager install-safe with NMM/Vortex, or I do I need to do a manual install? Thanks!

    Is there a way to create a new radio station with this?  Or, perhaps use it to update the condelco civil defense radio?  Here is a playlist I developed from a few sources which is somewhat lore friendly as it ramps up from civil defense and patriotic/anti-communist music of a 50s/country vibe to a sense of fear and anti-war/nuke sentiment ending with the failure to stop the attack (these can all be heard in youtube).  It even hints at a breakup leading up to the attack with songs about women and loves, then betrayal.  I just don't know how to create a mod like this otherwise I would try it myself.

    Hello, mod works perfectly and is exactly what I've been trying to find for months! Thank you!

    Only problem is that the tracks seem to get cut off about a minute or maybe halfway in? I don't think combat music is stopping it because the next track will start right after. Any ideas?

      I mostly expirience this issue in some ,,loadings´´ moments. When i am at one spot radio is working fine, but when i am in Vertibird and fly longer distances i can tell on some spots of world that the radio will switch to other song. Or....if you know what song is doing it look at how long is it, i have theory that (vanilla songs are mostly 2-3 minutees only) longer songs are cut off in advantage to other song.

    Thankyou for creating this framework. I have already mod a PopRock station for Diamond, and am finishing off an Americana type replacement for Radio Freedom.

    I was looking at the plugin in XEdit and wasn't entirely sure how the changes play out. For instance, for Freedom radio, in vanilla Fallout, there is 1 FormId for each of the 11 tracks. This mod adds an extra 10 tracks to the FormID (if you want more, you could just create more ANAM references eg data\Sound\FX\MUS\Radio\ExtraTracks\Freedom\MUS150.wav

    My main question is: Does the game just pick a random file from the 11 in the FormID to play, or just it play all the wavs/wmvs in a FormID sequentially, before moving on to another FormID? If the latter is the case, the tracks at the start of a FormID would be heard much more than the ones at the end. You might have to wait 25 minutes to heard the last track in a Freedom radio FormID :(

    I miss the old Morrowind/Oblivion/Fallout 3 system where the music files played were randomly chosen from whatever files were in a directory.

    Used this mod that I found while looking at Let Freedom Swing. I followed all the tips and now I have plenty of music in the game.

    Read the posts in the MultiXwm mod and you should not have any problems.
