I was looking for something like this. My character builds for My live streams are extremely OP anyhow (because of the tweaks I make on My outfits with an enchantment I made in CK) and I play on Very Hard because I don't like Survival mode because you can't save and one thing I have learned is that Bugthesda Games crash.. a lot. So I am gonna give this a shot in My Live Streams on Twitch and see how hard you made it. LOL no one can stand up to the Patriot Assault Carbine for very long but one shotting everything in VATS is getting old hat. As you may know Chalchi the Patriot Rifle is like Spray N Pray on huge amounts of steroids.
with the mod 'survival options' you can add a save item to your inventory and make 'hard saves' in survival mode when ever you like. in general i like the idea of survival mode a lot, but without some changes it is bearly playable... (cell respawn time, save option, hunger & thirst rate)
not sure, the base functionallity is not conflicting, but some of the add-ons do conflict. make sure to put npc level scaling after increased difficulty and don't forget to save first....,.
So I recently got Beyond the borders to work and there's a place that has literal hundreds of feral ghouls in one confined area. I did it with this mod installed and holy s#*! it was a zombie hoard like no other. Half the enemies were legendary. Definitely made things more fun. Can't wait to see it in action more.
Looks exciting! Should this work "out of the box" with mods like Unique NPCs, Deadler Predators, Deadlier Deathclaws, Super Mutant Overhaul, Raider Overhaul (and its override for Unique NPCs) and so on, or will I need to make patches?
(I am assuming, upon looking at your changes, that this only affects vanilla enemies, so that while they won't conflict, it'll only affect enemies added by other mods if I edit your leveled lists? This is not the kind of modding I'm used to doing, so I apologize if these are dumb questions.)
Unique NPC's schould be no problem, it seems Deadlier Deathclaws alters some of the same tables, as well as Raider Overhaul, so you will have to make patches. I have very limited internet data, unfortunately i can not check this mods for conflicts or my daily load is gone....... (first world problems in a third world country.. ;-)
just use FO4Edit and load them all, it will immediately highlight the conflicts. take a look at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YuQ0lJat_w0 for a quick tutorial of merged plugins.
i am new to this stuff as well, i just started playing around with FO4Edit to tweak the game to my liking for my x-th playtrough...
Thanks. And hm... It looks like it the lists in the files might be additive instead of canceling each other? I mean, I could be wrong, but I'm gonna just try loading this before all my other "make critters tougher" mods and see what happens. Worst case scenario, my machine explodes.
that should work, most of the critter mods alter different tables, mainly body data tables for health increase and location damage. good luck and keep the fire extinguisher on standby...
i made that stuff for myself the minute the game came out, only i leveled them all with the player and made sure they're always a few levels higher then the player. you don't want to come back to Concord when you're level 100 and stumble into level 14 raiders that you can spit to death..
I appreciate what you've done, and I agree the game is too easy for experienced players, even on Survival. Looking at the mod in FO4Edit I can see you have been very thorough and consistent in how you've adjusted the leveled lists. And you've saved the truly awesome legendary variants for fairly high player levels. Based on all this, endorsed.
One suggestion I would ask you to consider is adding basic MCM functionality to the mod. At least allowing players to enable/disable the three components individually. For example, I'm not inclined to use the leveled item portion. Given how you've done the mod, I can easily delete that component via FO4Edit. But not everybody is comfortable editing mods.

Your mod works great btw. Doesn't really make it any harder for Me (my char is way WAY OP) but wow it is like a treasure trove of legendary items LOL
Good Job man
if I could endorse it twice, I would.
