Its actually a work of fiction i have been working on based on a Micronation. Im one of the few remaining "members", and only person who cares to and has begun to work it out into a fiction.
As for the Fictional Nation, its based on a world called Vrsuta, its a World which is progressing in the latter years of its Industrial Era, technologically advanced in equivalence to the 1920s Western developed Europe and America, with a few differences, and is currently engaged in a Global Conflict.
The Democratic Socialist Dominion of Xivilna, Along with the Sovereignty of Luminosa, are Nations established by Xivilatine Cultures, and make up a large portion of the landmass in the continent of Castanto. However, in the past there have been 17 Xivilatine Nations, And the most there have been at once was 14. Xivilatine Culture has an emphasis on Building strong community through Cooperation and Supporting one another. A Democratic Socialist State implements Ideas from the COO, but chooses to regulate their Economy in a way that a Business can make a profit, but not at the expense of the workers.
As for Luminosa, It is a Monarchy, and retains a lot of Religious and its Folkish tradition. but much the same economically. Xivilatine Culture Barrows From the Romans in respect to Language, Architecture, And Military. But many traditions, Music and customs, Including the alphabet borrow from Slavic and Scandinavian Cultures. (Essentially, the Xivilatine language is Latin in Cyrillic Alphabet.)
Their current army is Much like the Soviet Red Army in Appearance, Only more well trained, better equipped, and the Dominion does not have the ability to Grind thousands of troops into the enemy. more tactically adept, the Dominion prefers fighting in ways that are the most effective, wile minimizing their own losses.
Save for the Svardhaxa, A femail order who are few in Numbers Due to Training and Cost Requirements. Best way to describe a Svardhaxa is to Imagine Spellsword Clad in Unique Ornate Ballistic Armor, wielding an arsenal of Industrial Era Firearms. As their Name implies (Sword Witch in Swedish), they are also trained to use Arcane power, Similer in the way a Witcher casts Signs, if you know what that is. I have Carefully crafted a backstory to Magic in Vrsuta, but i don't want to go into too much detail without being asked. There power Makes them Effective Shock-and-shatter Troops. the Grasians Created the Sonnenjäger as a Countermeasure.
Secondly is the Gothic Legion. It is a highly trained lethal Shock Army, whose tactics are based heavily on Blitzkreig, Using Both Elite battle expertise and Numbers to Overwhelm and destroy the enemy. and are often seen as a rival to the Castont Corps de la désolation.
The Dominion is one of 5 nations considered Global Superpowers. The others Are the Theocratic Castont Imperium, The Fascist Merivium Hegemony, The Communist Grasian Consulate, and the Capitalist Confederation of the Oltoma and Osmana (COO)
