I love this mod! literally one of the main mods i need to have in my playthroughs recently. It's unironically made looting SO much more intuitive for me. However, i use the Dot Crosshair mod by Crimsomrider, as i have bullet spread disabled. Because this mod changes the crosshair, i can not use both at the same time. Obviously i chose this mod over the crosshair mod, but i would REALLY like to use both.
I have no experience with merging mods and making patches, is there any chance you would ever consider making a patch for both mods to work together? or alternatively, have a functionality to turn the main crosshair into a dot?
If not, i completely understand as it's a very niché thing to ask for
Good mod, but I honestly find its crosshair toggle redundant as the one from the game settings is already present. Also, it could really use more info customisation, like hiding burden, v/w ratio and so on.
Unable to toggle or move the "Brief Item Card" option, always overlaps with the name of whatever I'm targeting. Seems like others have the same issues as well.
Yeah I'm still having the same issue... Now it's worse because I went from a 16:10 ratio monitor to a 16:9 and I can't change any of the settings. Even after reinstalling the mod, it still somehow has my old settings permanently. Turning the settings "on" or "off" doesn't even do anything for me. I'm at a total loss. This is extremely frustrating. I'm thinking it's because Def_UI is now a F4SE plugin and this is, too, and this hasn't been updated to work with Def_UI in that way.
This is fuken great, components display when hovering over junk without the unpaid internship position that is patching component tags? Sign me up. Outstanding job, I love you. You can have my firstborn child (Shaun)
Are you using some language than is not english? Fixed installing the correct traduction. Now is ok, my only complain now is this don´t have dps in the weapons.
I've had this issue multiple times in the past, and it has always come from the mod DEF UI, you should look into disabling that mod if you have it and switch to the FallUI Series instead. DEF UI also creates this issue with multiple other UI mods.
Go to "HUD Plus Plus\Interface\Translations" directory. Duplicate the file "HUDPlusPlus_en.txt" in this directory and rename it with your language code. In my case I renamed it "HUDPlusPlus_it.txt", for Italian. Open this file and translate it.
This was my original file: $VALUE/WEIGHT Value/Wt. $CARRYWEIGHT Burden $WEIGHT WEIGHT $VALUE VALUE
and this is my italian translated file: $VALUE/WEIGHT Valore/Peso $CARRYWEIGHT Peso $WEIGHT PESO $VALUE VALORE
This mod is a UI widget that attaches itself to the base game's crosshair widget. So any changes to the base game's crosshair will change HUD++ as well.
To the people struggling with FallUI:
To make HUD++ work with FallUI, just scale down FallUI's crosshair in the MCM. That will bring HUD++ back over from the side of the screen.
With my FallUI crosshair at 85%, HUD++ is back where it should be on my 2560x1600 display.
This doesn't explain why repositioning HUD++ through its own menus never permanently works, but it does avoid the compatibility issue with FallUI.
Is there a way to change the color of the crosshair card/text? when I look in quickloot it matches my hud color but if i pass an item on it's own the card and text are white instead. I'm using fallui and that seems to default white as a ui color but I've yet to find where it actually changes that.
It would be nice if you were allowed the option to disable certain functions, since I really only want to see the components, value, and weight (The value/weight and burden add too much clutter for me, personally).
So I had this same problem of the crosshair and quick container cards shifting to the left after reloading the save (I saw many other similar posts and this was the most recent). With Vortex, I'm using the full FallUI suite, HUD framework, Active effects on HUD, and some other HUD mods. I don't know if it is the cause of this issue but I didn't bother testing without it as I got this 'fixed' as described below.
I don't know the exact source of the problem but what seemed to happen in my case was upon loading the save, the information cards would shift 190 units (I think these are pixels?) to the left. I also noticed that the 'loading' icon symbol that you drag around to position the information cards was not representative of where the information card would be (before reloading). The cards seem to be anchored to the left of the positioning symbol which meant that you have to move the position symbol almost entirely off the right of the screen to get the card's right border to be close to the right screen border (before reloading). It then would shift left after reloading making it impossible to get close to the right border without modifying every time the save is loaded.
A workaround fix to this problem is to shift the position of your information cards further to the right so that it shifts left to the desired position upon loading the world. So I was placing the card at X:1275 and it would reset after reloading to X:1085 where I wanted it. I'm using a 1440p monitor so I have my quick container loot window just right of my crosshair and this information card right of it. The X:1275 value I used was at the very far right limit of my screen btw.
Hope this helps or gives insight into what the problem is.

Save it. Done.

I think there's compatibility issue with fallui.
