About this mod

Are you like me?
Tired of running hither and yon on Radiant Quests because Preston Garvey is a jackass?
Do you not want to waste dozens of hours building settlements for the sheeple of the Commonwealth on your latest Survival playthrough?
With this save, you can pretty much ignore 21 settlements except for the occasional visit t

Permissions and credits
Hello and Welcome!
This savegame is for those of us who want to do full survival playthroughs of Fallout4 but without the whole 'Word from a Settlement' issue that, let's face it, ALL of us have with Preston Garvey. With most of the settlements already built up Preston will hopefully be less chatty and Radiant questy.
Most of the settlements remaining are quest locked, some of which seem to be for arbitrary reasons.

What this savegame does is start you out in the Vault. Since I used a few mods to help settlement building, I COCed out of the vault, built the settlements up, then COCed back into the Vault, saved, sexchanged, saved a diferent file. As I COCed around the map instead of walking it, most of the power armor frames have not been spawned. No DLCs have been started, although I did cheat in a Automatron workbench into Graygarden.

All the settlements are vanilla, no modded items, although you will need all the DLCs.

This means that time has not actually passed, and won't pass until you open the Vault Door, and that the SPECIAL and Looks menus are still there for when you exit the Vault.

That's right! You can still customize your new character as they have technically never left the vault!

You'll also notice that you're level 35, and have the requisite amount of perk points to spend. If you want, you can explain this away as the experience that your character had gained in their prewar life. If your like me, you can joke about 1 year of age prewar = 1 level.

No collectibles have been gathered. You'll still have to do this yourself.

Bear in mind, due to the vanilla game build boundaries and build budgets that I've gone for an Efficient Settlement style as opposed to a Township Settlement build profile.

Settlements not built:
Sanctuary (We all build our own, and we all customize it appropriately. It has been cleared out so it's ready for immediate building.)
Nordhagen Beach (No idea why I can't get a quest for this one.)
The Castle (Another one we all tend to customize. It's been cleared out and is ready for building.
Bunker Hill (Quest locked)
Home Plate (Not purchased yet)
Covenant (Your decisions may not be mine. Leaving it alone.)
Boston Airport (You'll get this unlocked toward the end of the game)
Warwick Homestead (No idea why I can't get a quest here.)
The Slog (No idea why I can't get a quest here.)
All DLC Settlements (For obvious reasons)

Settlements Built:
Red Rocket
Abernathy Farms
Sunrise Tidings Coop
Somerville Place
Murkwater Construction Site
Spectacle Island
Jamaica Plain
Tenpines Bluff
Outpost Zimonja
Oberland Station
Hangman's Alley
Starlight Drivein
Taffington Boathouse
Greentop Nursery
Couny Crossing
Finch Farm
Croup Manor
Coastal Cottage
Kingsport lighthouse
Graygarden
Egret Tours Marina (I spared Phyllis and she joined the Minutemen I'm sorry if that's not your preference)

Each settlement (except Graygarden) has a minimum of 24 food, 24 beds, 30 water, 200 Defense, 12 top tier bars(Happiness), 1 barber chair(Happiness), and 7 Scavenger benches, a computer terminal, and 3 brahmin troughs.
Settler Breakdown at max:
4 for food
12 for bars
1 barber chair
7 scavenging tables
= 24 settlers

Your settler maximum is 10 + your charisma. So at 10 charisma, you will have a maximum of 20 settlers.
If you get 10 charisma, get an alcohol addiction, then use the SPECIAL book, then cure the addiction, you can get 11 charisma. This gives you 21 settlers max. (Note: this may or may not have been patched.)
If you then get the Charisma bobblehead that's 12 Charisma for 22 settlers.
You then only need two points of charisma on your clothing/armor to get the requisite 24 settlers.

In addition to almost all settlements built out, I've scattered a few items hither and yon.
I'll list only the ones in the Vault
Recon scoped Light Combat rifle.
Reflex sighted Light 10mm pistol.
Vault 111 armor and helmet.
Vault Lab coat.
There's a chest in Sanctuary that shouldn't be hard at all to find.
Also a couple surprises in the Castle Armory.

In addition to all that,
If you either switch out of Survival or do what I did and use a mod to enable the console in Survival, you can copy the batch files to your fallout 4 Data directory and use the command 'Bat <name of batch file>' to equip your settlers.
Each will give them a full set of randomized Combat armor, Army fatigues, Ammunition, and a randomized version of the weapon listed.
Assault (Rifle)
Combat (Rifle)
Minigun
Shotgun (Combat)

Installation
Copy the savegames to (Windows 10)
Documents/my games/Fallout4/Saves
Copy the batch files to your <steampath>/Steamapps/common/Fallout4/Data

When you load the game for the first time you will need to 'Show all saves' and select which save you want to have.

Bugs:
Nora will be looking at a clone of herself in the other pod. I did it this way as I really did not want to try to spend another godawful amount of hours to build the settlements the same way on a female character.
