This mod allows you to freely change the base color, trim, and decal on your vault suits. It supports all Fallout 4 vault suits, including those added by Far Harbor and The Vault 88 Workshop DLC. It also requires AWKCR and Armorsmith Extended.

The included textures come from Akalor's Vault Suits (Recolors for Male and Female) and reelo2228's HexCamo Vault Suit, plus a few textures made by me and a few repurposed from the original game files. You can also install Proto Vault Suit and/or Badass Vault Dweller Long-coat for even more customization options.

All told, there are:

24 primary colors
19 secondary colors (trims)
33 decals (replaces the vault number)
7 coats (including the option to not wear a coat)

Which gives you over 100,000 potential combinations of textures, trims, decals, and coats. While some of these combinations are fairly similar, there are still thousands of totally unique styles you can create.

There are four versions to choose from (you will be given the option to select one in the NMM installer).

1) The base version only uses textures that I have permission to distribute with this mod and textures I created myself. It doesn't require that you download any other mods. It has fewer primary and secondary colors, and doesn't include the coats, but it's the easiest to install.

2) The proto version includes options to use the Proto Vault Suit textures, but you have to install them yourself since I don't have permission to redistribute them. You need to install the Proto Vault Suit Standalone. I've set up my mod to use the same file structure. Once you install it, you can disable the esp file and use mine instead.

3) The long-coat version uses the coat mesh added by Eferas' Badass Vault Dweller Long-coat. Install the main file and put it's esp above Customizable Vault Suit's esp in your load order. This version allows you to both modify the colors on the vault dweller longcoat added by Eferas' mod, or to add the long-coat directly to your Vault 111 jumpsuit as shown below.

NOTE: This option allows you to change the colors on the Badass Vault Suit Longcoat, but it also allows you to simply add a Longcoat to your existing Vault 111 jumpsuit (and only the 111 jumpsuit). Because of this, any vault 111 jumpsuits currently present in your save will appear invisible until you explicitly set them to either use a long-coat or not at the Armor Workbench. Newly generated Vault 111 suits, either given to you at the start of the game as part of a new save or crafted at the AWKCR/Armorsmith Workbench (or added in by console), will display correctly without having to be modified.

4) The Proto and Long-coat version uses both the proto vault suit and long-coat to maximize your options. It has the same installation requirements as versions 2 and 3.

-Compatibility-

This mod should be compatible with any other mods that add to Armorsmith's primary/secondary/decal color swap system for Vault Suits.

This mod includes the changes made by Various Material Fixes. If you want to install the entire Material Fixes mod, just make sure that Customizable Vault Suits is below it in your load order.

This mod edits the records of all Fallout 4 jumpsuits, especially the Vault 111 jumpsuit. This is necessary to make the Long-coat addon work, and for other small changes. If you have another mod that specifically edits the jumpsuit records, either place it above Customizable Vault Suits or use FO4edit to make a patch (if you know how to do that). If you choose to override this mod's changes with another mod, most of the features will still work, but some will fail to display properly. You can ask me for a patch to a specific mod if you can't make one yourself, but I may not have time to get to it immediately.

This mod does not edit the Vault Suit mesh, so it is compatible with any other mods that do so such as CBBE. I don't use any of those mods, so I don't know which ones actually look good with these textures, but they won't have any conflicts (as far as I'm aware). The one exception is the Long-coat addon, which will override the vault suit mesh if you apply it to your vault suit.

-Things to Know-

In case you missed it when I said it before, THIS MOD REQUIRES ARMORSMITH EXTENDED. It would be way too complicated to make a version that doesn't use it.

This mod also requires the Far Harbor and Vault 88 DLC because it changes the vault suits added by them. If people request it, I can make a no DLC version.

Like I said before, this mod has 100,000 potential combinations you can make. As far as I'm aware, they all work as they should, but I did not test all of them. If you find something that doesn't display correctly, I will do my best to fix it. If you are using the proto-lining or long-coat versions, make sure the prerequisite mods are installed correctly before reporting any bugs.

If you like this mod and think it is worthy of an endorsement, please also endorse the mods this one is made with.

In order to reduce the clutter in the color-swap and decal menus, some of the options are hidden by default. To show them, simply select the entry for the category you want. For example, if you want to show the faction decals, select the option that says "View the Faction swaps." Your options for changing the decal to a faction logo will then appear below.
