I'm flagging this for when I go back to playing with mods, but this is my primary hope for this: I want it to SOUND better. I've always thought the broadsider should have used the same sound effect that the minuteman artillery and the Constitution's guns make.
I'm trying to put together a load out for a total minuteman play-through, and I'm looking for a heavy weapon to compliment the laser musket and revolutionary sword. However, I always end up modifying the broadsider in the console to make it either explosive or instigating, because it's otherwise easily outclassed by the six-crank laser musket.
so ive tryed out your mod, idk if it works at all, as i read it had made cannonballs craftable, i cant craft them, but idk if it changes the broadsider.... do i have to compleat the quest that gives me the broad sider to beable to craft them or something?
i ask because i have a broadsider but didnt do the quest, i crafted mine, and sadly will have to use CC to make ammo for it, though id rather craft it, then just add it from thin air
so yea, it works on the gun itself, but i cant craft cannonballs from the chem station... sadly.. if some one can recommend a mod that lets me craft them as this one wont let me, if you will give me a link to one i would thank you

Needs the AWKCR mod to work, but you get a craftable ammo workbench that lets you craft all of the game's ammo (including all the DLC's). Has setting when you install it for how easy or difficult you want the crafting recipes to be.
Some idea's but they would require a good bit of work.
Grape Shot Receiver - clear an entire street at close range like an over the top giant shot gun with a guaranteed gibbing effect on enemy's within that range. Chain Shot Barrel, two broadside barrels side by side, narrower spread but greater range and a similar effect to the Grape shot (To make it more fun but a lot harder a custom projectile consisting of two cannon ball with a chain between them but hey who actually see's a bullet except in the kill shot slow mo's).
Great work on perhaps the most ridiculous gun in the game, this only just fall's short of the infamous land shark gun from another certain game but I always did like to use it so now your mod is going into my install and a definite endorse coming and thank you for sharing.
Here's my feedback on your ideas: Grapeshot in reality is basically the same as buckshot: bunch of smaller, solid pellets that are launched in a wide spread. Downsizing the existing cannonball mesh would work well, though a custom loading mesh would be needed to not make it look like you're putting in a single, small cannonball.
Chainshot: Its actually two smaller cannonballs, or halves depending on the style, linked together via chain. They were used to take out masts, crippling the ship in the process. They'd be loaded like a regular cannon ball, but again would require a custom loading mesh. Getting hit by one of these would guarantee a crippled limb or a mangled torso if you're particularly unlucky.
And thanks, I appriciate the endorsement and download! As a new mod publisher, though I have been doing mods for quite some time now, I'm excited to see that people are enjoying the fruits of my efforts!
I am using a Vault Meat preset and the Slooty Vault Suit on purpose so I won't deny that her proportions are excessive, just a good way to catch a few more eyes and clicks.

Ps. not coded for the chem workbench

It could fire a bundle of Railway Spikes like a shotgun
