It was fun having heavily armed thugs after me. I didn't even mind it when 2 or 3 hunter groups attacked me at the same time. Not even even getting immediately and repeatedly attacked by 6 or 7 hunter groups one after the other that never gives me a chance to rest or recover made me want to delete the mod.
The one thing that made me uninstall this mod and guarantee that I will never recommend it is the instantaneously and unavoidable paralyzing poison attacks.
I don't mind a challenge but I loath insta-kills of any kind, the poison alone breaks this mod for me. If in the future you add an option to disable the insta-kills I might change my mind and try it again.

I downloaded a whole bunch of mods and decided to start a new game, I found them at the diner and activated the bounty system. Later in the game I cleared out Covenent with the quest, however when I came back everything still counted as stealing which I guess caused the bounty hunters to come after me, and they did, I was level 8, and there were 6 bounty hunters all with plasma guns or something attacking me, I couldn't even see the damage I was dealing, I have been in an endless loop of dying and re-loading my game, even on the times they poison me and take my caps, I'll recover and they'll just shoot me when I get up. I can't escape them no matter what I do.

I agree, on survival this mod is impossible unless at higher levels.

      Uninstalled.

Yes this was in vanilla base game for covenant with the steal tag on things , the beds tho once you get access to the workshop or can just replace those steal tagged ones

I made this same mistake. Downloading a bunch of mods for a new playthrough, and saw this one. I picked it up thinking it was going to be pretty cool. I was expected some slightly stronger encounters that might be sent after me or my settlement whenever I did something bad, but sadly it became this awful experience with unbalanced bounty hunters (spawning in groups of six or seven against one level 3 person? and with amazing gear, to boot) who appear -all the time-, despite my only possible crime being having worked on a settlement.

Worse, surviving against the bounty hunters is apparently a bad thing, and yet the mod author seems to boast about how powerful he's made them, in his articles.

Honestly, I'm sad about this one.

Look, I think they're actually quite good and very challenging , if you had access to the workshop, and stuck turret back on all corner of covenant, the turrets do a dam fine job keeping them out , and any extra defenses , ..
Also the way I understand it, you steal 1 item it will top the list of stolen items to cause them to come after you , you depending on you have the setting in holo tape , as to how they are , ...
As for you not being able to get up , if they're succeeded in "knocking" you out, thats them respecting you, an all you've lost in caps , you then can get a opportunity to go do some bounties yourself ..........
