I don't usually comment on mods I download but for this mod I made an exception. This is the best settlement blueprint, period. You managed to take mostly vanilla assets and turn Sanctuary into a true post-apocalyptic paradise. This is the kind of environment design I love to see in games. The design of the city feels like a true community. The only thing it's missing is some actual characters and AI and it would end up being one of my favorite video game cities, it's just that good, enough to contend with professional game design.
Anyone wondering what the missing (non-vanilla) mod missing named dinoshelf.esp is: Do It Yourself Updated - to be found on Bethesda.net. The mod used to be on here but the author decided to move it there for reasons he stated here You can use the blueprint without the above mentioned mod but there will be a few (minor) details missing and some manual deletion of a few floating lamps and closing of some gaps in your defensive wall will be needed. Not a big issue though - a matter of 5 minutes at most.
In respect to the blueprint:
I just love it
although it is NOT recommended to run it neither on a potato nor a toaster, since it does use quite a few assets. XD On a decently powerful PC though it's a blast. Just the right mix of immersive atmosphere and fun diddling around. Some people may want to buff the defenses a smidge but that is up to one's liking. What distinguishes this mod from many others is that it is playable (no maces of staircases and god knows what) and not an overpowered fortress with turrets galore.
Its more than an year and people are still downloading... well... thanks... ive made a lot of settlements, but my videoboard is broken and i cant upload them!
*Settlements that ive done:
Drive In Starlight Village The Castle Trade Spot Red Rocket Guard Post The Slog Commercial Farm
I trust that will take long for me to buy another videoboard... but when i get it, ill upload them!
