** V2 was created from scratch, including the plugin, so you will lose any old ones in your inventory if you upgrade. I've kept the old version in the old files for those who want to keep the old ones. **

This old mod from 2017 just got a facelift in 2023 with new models and textures from scratch.  The lenses are now nice and smooth how they should be, textures remade, with some new frame and lens colors to boot!

A visual effect can be enabled on the sunglasses to darken them while being worn. Off by default and with 3 levels of darkness.

They will appear in several vendor clothing leveled lists, and on some Gunners.

A free pair can be found in Nate and Nora's bedroom dresser in Sanctuary.  See images for details.

FEATURES

  • Male and Female
  • Ground models, proper collision.
  • 8 Frame Colors (black, blue (RobCo), olive, red (Nuka Cola), tan, tortoise shell, teal, white)
  • 3 Lens Colors (black / clear / polarized)
  • 3 levels of vision-darkening (optional)
  • Frame, Lens, and Visual Effect (darkening) can be added/changed at Armor Workbench
  • Dynamic naming (i.e. Warby Parker Eyeglasses (black) // Warby Parker Sunglasses (Tortoise)
  • Leveled List Injection (clothing and eyewear leveled lists, will appear on vendors randomly)
  • DEAD SEXEH

HOW 2 GET?

  • Go to Nate and Nora's bedroom in Sanctuary to find a free pair (see images for details.)
  • They are script-injected into the clothing and eyewear leveled lists, so you'll randomly find them around on occasion. Some Gunners will also wear them.
  • You can use the console, type help warby 0 armo then use player.additem xxx where xxx is the ID you see next to the object.  They will only be displayed as "Warby Parker Griffin" because sunglasses or eyeglasses are automatically appended depending on the lens type.

NOTE: The Armorsmith Extended patch is not currently supported.  It's still in the Old Files section if you need it for some reason.  There have been sweeping changes to AE since this mod was released and it seems it may no longer work.

That's basically it!  Enjoy.
